I can’t believe I misspelled my sister in the Lord name. Her name is spelled Willye Dennis instead Willie the news paper said she was a former civil rights leader of course they wanted to discredit her as much as they could . We still live in the South and she worked the until her last days she was 85 year old.

This picture has brought tears to my eyes. It makes me think of God transferring His power from one servant to another: Moses to Joshua,
Elijah to Elisha , David to Solomon, John to Jesus Jesus to who soever will. I am a great grand mother and I realize it is time for us to pass the baton to President Obama generation.
Today in Jacksonville,Fla we said goodnight to our civil rights Queen Mrs. Willie Dennis a true Queen in her rights. She fought a good fight.I don’t know if she met Pres.O but I do know we prayed long and hard. She was friends with Lewis.Jackson ect. She served a NAACP Pres.and was sent a bomb in a box. Her life was spared because she had a flat tire and was late getting to her office. However she did get to see her life and fight was not in vain. Goodnight our Queen a SERVANT FOR GOD’S PEOPLE.

They know the risk involved in putting themselves and their families out there. It takes strength, courage, and a love for serving the greater good.
