Sugar Shayne Graham kicks 55 FG with no time left on clock, pulling Texans within 17-13. It’s his career high.

Texans 13 Patriots 17
Whew! That was a big touchdown for the Texans. They’re making me sweat!
LOL Why you sweatin, woman? What you got on the grill today?
I cooked inside. The boys said it was too cold to fire up the grill. Boo hoo!
LOL COLD?! I don’t think we reached 10 degrees here today.
LOL!
A cold front moved in and we don’t like it. That wind is sharp.
John McClain@McClain_on_NFL
Crowd went bonkers when ref wouldn’t overturn Foster’s TD run. Texans scored a red zone TD. So that’s what it looks like.

Texans vs. Patriots: 5 keys to the game
http://bostonherald.com/sports/patriots_nfl/new_england_patriots/2013/01/texans_vs_patriots_5_keys_game
Running back Arian Foster ranked sixth in the NFL with 1,424 yards this season, but he mustered just 46 yards in Week 14 against the Pats. Yet, Foster has been outstanding in his three career playoff games, averaging 27.7 carries for 141.7 yards with four total touchdowns, plus 16 receptions for 85 yards. Foster had 40 touches last week against the Bengals, almost singlehandedly driving the offense. Whether the Pats jump out early or just stifle Foster at the line, they can’t allow him to be a force today.
GO TEXANS!!
Five things to watch: Texans at Patriots
http://www.houstontexans.com/news/article-2/Five-things-to-watch-Texans-at-Patriots/0907f2fb-4ecc-45a5-a48e-6a6da38e6598
Here are five things to watch when the Texans (13-4, 1st AFC South) face the New England Patriots (12-4, 1st AFC East) in a Divisional Round playoff game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Sunday. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. CT.
1. Feeding Foster: Texans running back Arian Foster has 425 rushing yards in three career postseason games, the most by any player in his first three playoff games in NFL history. Another big effort would go a long way in the Texans’ second trip to New England turning out differently than the first.
The Texans are 8-0 this season when Foster rushes for 100 or more yards. That includes last Saturday in the Wild Card round, when Foster had 140 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries to help carry the Texans to a 19-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Foster has topped 100 rushing yards in each of his three playoff games, tied for the fourth-longest streak in history behind Terrell Davis (7) and Hall of Famers John Riggins (6) and Thurman Thomas (4).
Foster had just 46 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries (3.1 average) at New England on Dec. 10, when the Texans fell behind 21-0 early in the second quarter and 28-0 by halftime before losing 42-14. Right tackle Derek Newton and tight end Garrett Graham are both playing on Sunday after sitting out in Week 14 with injuries, which should help the Texans’ running game and offense at large.
Also working in the Texans’ favor is that Foster has been virtually unstoppable in the playoffs, with an average of 141.7 rushing yards and 170.0 yards from scrimmage per game.
2. MegaWatt: Winning one-on-one pass-rush battles is crucial against Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who’s notoriously lethal against the blitz. That’s where presumptive 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt comes in.

Texans-Patriots winner to host AFC Championship Game
http://www.houstontexans.com/news/article-2/Texans-Patriots-winner-to-host-AFC-Championship-Game/755861f1-8412-4b57-9004-8be19a471190
The winner of Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game between the Texans and New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium will host the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
The Ravens, the AFC’s fourth seed, knocked off the top-seeded Denver Broncos 38-35 in double overtime on Saturday. The second-seeded Patriots or third-seeded Texans will now have home-field advantage in the final round of the AFC playoffs. The AFC Championship Game, whether it’s in Houston or Foxboro, will kick off on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The city of Houston has never hosted an AFC Championship Game. The Houston Oilers played in two AFC Championship Games after the 1978 and 1979 seasons but lost both games at Pittsburgh.
The Texans beat the Ravens 43-13 at Reliant Stadium in Week 7. Baltimore beat the Texans twice last season, once in the regular season and again in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, a closely-contested 20-13 victory. Both games were played in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.
Hey SG2, As an Alabamian, I’m not necessarily a Houston Texan fan; my heart is in college football–as in Alabama Crimson Tide BCS Champions! But as far as the NFL goes, I definitely DO NOT care for the New England Patriots with their pretty-boy quarterback Tom Brady and their coach who got away w/ just a slap on the wrist for illegal spying on the competition. So today I’m pulling for the Texans and the Atlanta Falcons. Yesterday I pulled for the Baltimore Ravens. So far, I’m batting a thousand. So we’ll see how things today go today. Go Texans!
Whoo Hoo! Glad to have you rooting for the Texans!
We’re ready for bear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NCW, I ‘m feeling you! GO TEXANS! Yeah; Raven’s are my hometown team!
Come on Texans…today is where the rubber meets the road!
Lets rock and roll!
Tom Brady & Patriots
Back off I’ll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
