Love For the Elderly: Teen Boy Sends Letters to Seniors

13-year old Jacob Cramer wants to cheer up lonely elderly people and he’s chosen an old-fashioned way of doing it. He is writing letters. Since July 2013, Jacob has recruited friends, and even organizations, to help compose personal letters for delivery to senior centers. So far, strangers have reached out in friendship from all over the world; some close to the Cleveland suburbs where the effort began and some as far away as Europe and Asia.

The enthusiastic response for his nonprofit group, Love For The Elderly, inspired him to launch a website and social media campaign to spur more letter writing.[….] To help out, you can send a letter or card to the postal address below. They also have an online submission form.[….]

So, judging from my email over the past few days, the Democrats are using Boehner’s lawsuit against PBO to raise money, saying that this opens the door to impeachment. Now they are going to “defend” President Obama and they need money.

So, wtf is going on? I’m getting sick and effing tired about all of this discussion about impeaching an American president, any president, for no reason. Why aren’t we standing on our balconies screaming at the top of our lungs that we’ve had enough of these GOP attacks on PBO, trying to keep him continously under siege and not allowing him to govern while they carry on with this kind of nonsense in lieu of governing.

The emails I’m getting from Dems say they will defend PBO, but they do not say how and that would be my first question because, so far, they have not defended him. They want the money first.

** banging head on desk **

This “impeachment” bullsh*t needs to be obliterated and soon.

We are political junkies so we see the impeachment mess. But a lot of people on mailing lists, they do not get it. The emails are the first time that they have someone to connect the dots for them.
