  1. George W. Bush: I’m Done With Politics

    http://www.politicsdaily.com/2011/01/28/george-w-bush-im-done-with-politics/

Republican candidates hoping for some high-profile help on the campaign trail next year shouldn’t look to George W. Bush.

The former president told C-SPAN he’s done with politics and all its trappings.

“I don’t want to go out and campaign for candidates,” he told Brian Lamb in an interview airing this weekend. “I don’t want to be viewed as a perpetual money-raiser.”

Bush said he’s not interested in making television appearances and made it clear that the C-SPAN sitdown was an anomoly.

“In spite of the fact that I’m now on TV, I don’t want to be on TV,” he said.

Bush said he doesn’t think former presidents should resort to punditry, because they’ll inevitably be asked to second-guess the decisions of the current Oval Office occupant.

“I think it’s bad for the country, frankly, to have a former president criticize his successor,” Bush said. “It’s tough enough to be president as it is without a former president undermining the current president.”

    US Foreign Policy and Wars
    Pres. Mubarak’s Steals 40 Billion

Hosni Mubarak has taken real estate, liquid cash, royal yachts, and has 40 billion in cash and assets hidden away in banks around the world for easy access namely in: Germany, United States, UK, Switzerland, Scotland, England, Dubai, Madrid and other countries. The Alaa Mubarak has properties both inside the country or in the United States major cities of Washington, LA and New York on the finest streets of the land.

His wife Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak and their two sons also are incredibly wealthy and the first lady has another 3-5 billion for her own personal use.
Mubarak’s wealth also has ties to large corporate US interests such as:
Marlboro, Hermes, Mcdonalds, Vodafone, Hyundai, Chili and other large corporations.

It is no surprise that the people of Egypt are starving, jobless and have been robbed of their countries wealth because President Mubarak and his greedy relatives have stolen all from his own country.

I read about this ” pharmacist” at blue wave news. She’s needs her liscence revoked. Like the radio host said, we can’t have lone pharmacists holding healthcare hostage. I swear this country is regressing. We talk about the Mideast but we are just as regressive in some parts of America. Outrageous!

    • Ametia says:

And a female at that. Her only role is to fill the dman prescription, not marshall out drugs to whomever she deems fit according to her own rigid beliefs. Her pharmacist license needs to be REVOKED.

But you know, it won’t happen without some push, look at the mother who got jail time for placing her child in another school district so that she could get a GOOD education. White privilege syndrome.

These fools can try as they might to go backwards, but we’re going FORWARD!

OMG! A Turkey has gone postal! LMAO

Turkey Attacks U.S. Postal Service Mail Truck In Cape Cod (VIDEO)

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/28/turkey-attacks-postal-ser_n_815354.html

It’s not just humans who have problems with the postal service. In this “Today Show” video, a turkey in Cape Cod, Massachusetts is so angry at a postal service truck that he chases the truck down the road, running at up to 25 mph. While running, he repeatedly slams his body into the truck, in a scene that could make quite the animal action film. As one Today Show news anchor exclaims, “I’d skip that street on my route!”

This isn’t the first time that a bird has threatened a postal worker. A hawk in Calgary, Canada harassed a postal worker so much that the employee was forced to wear a helmet. And then the hawk broke the helmet.

  4. Bill O’Reilly: Boehner’s Crying Hurts His Credibility (VIDEO)

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/29/oreilly-boehner-crying-credbility_n_815784.html

Bill O’Reilly expressed concern about Speaker of the House John Boehner’s emotional stability on his Friday show, and said that international leaders were “laughing” at him and calling him a “sissy.”

O’Reilly was speaking to Fox News colleague Chris Wallace, who will interview Boehner on Sunday. “He’s got to get his emotions under control,” O’Reilly said. He posited that President Obama may have been trying to make Boehner cry during the State of the Union address. He then compared him to two American icons.

You’ve got your George Pattons, you’ve got your George Washingtons–stoic, tough,” O’Reilly said. “A lot of Americans, you know, well if the guy’s crying every two minutes, does that mean he’s strong, does that impact on his credibility?”

He said Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was “laughing” at Boehner because, while he was “wrestling polar bears without his shirt, and has never cried in his life, he’s going, ‘look at this sissy.’ Perception is reality.”

Oh got damn! So now it’s President Obama’s fault for making Boehner cry? What will these ass clown mofos say next?

LMAO Yes, POTUS is the big, bad, black boogey man!

      • Ametia says:

you know we can’t take Faux Noise or any of these cable stations too seriously. While they try to elevate mediocre white idiots like Palin, Bachman, and yes, cry baby Boehner, they could care less about the rest of the world.
        i.e. EGYPT.
It’s alll about their convoluted whiteness.

Our corporate media knows nothing about the world. All they can do is live stream al jazeera and bring on the same pundits. Last night msnbc brought on Dennis Kucinich to talk about Egypt. Kucinich barely knows what’s going on here in Ohio. What could he possibly know about Egypt?

      • Ametia says:

spot on Dannie. The corporate media could give a flying fungus about the rest of the world, unless there’s $$$$ involved.

Just posted a thread about the Egyptian youth perspective on what’s happening. They aren’t protesting for anything less than what Americans who are supressed & opressed would protest/fight for.

The media does not want to air this. It would show more POC (folks) as being too much like HUMAN.

      • Last night msnbc brought on Dennis Kucinich to talk about Egypt. Kucinich barely knows what’s going on here in Ohio. What could he possibly know about Egypt?

It’s to attack the President. They’ll bring on anyone to go against the President. I’m surprised they didn’t bring on Velma Hart?

PBO prolly was trying to make Boner cry. It’s not that hard. Just his name and he starts tearing up.

    Dear Ametia,

Hundreds of thousands of people go into debt every year enrolling in for-profit higher education programs like DeVry and Argosy — sold on the idea that they’ll graduate with skills that will lead to opportunity and a better life. In reality, many come out with a mountain of debt they can’t pay back and no better prospects at employment.1
Thankfully, the Obama administration is trying to rein in this industry, which preys on low-income Americans. Their plan is to stop federal financial aid from going to higher ed programs that don’t actually help students get jobs and pay off their debt.2 Not surprisingly, the industry is fighting back hard, despite its atrocious record: their students make up 10% of those in higher ed but 40% of students who stop making payments on their loans.3

The Department of Education will make a decision soon on how to regulate this industry — and they’re under huge pressure from industry lobbyists. Please join us in calling on Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Congress to stand strong and protect low-income students. It only takes a moment:

Taking time away from work to get a traditional college education can feel like an impossible proposition for many Americans, and for-profit colleges seem like a quick, flexible way to get ahead. They promise low-income folks the job training it takes to escape poverty.

THERE’S the State of the Union address, and then there’s the State of the Union dress. Does anyone care if the president wore a suit by the presidential tailor George des Paris on Tuesday night? Of course not. His speech, and issues like job creation, tax cuts, climate change and gun control, are more pressing than his fashion choices.
