Responding to complaints from his constituents, the congressman representing the district where the Cliven Bundy ranch is located, has called upon state and local officials to get rid of the militia members who have taken up residence on the ranch, calling them “armed separatists,” according to the Reno Gazette Journal.
Speaking to the Clark County Democratic Convention in Las Vegas on Saturday, Rep. Steven Horsford (D) said he was appealing for help from officials after being approached by residents wanting to know about his plans to get rid militia members who have set up encampments in the Bunkerville area.
“I am calling on (Gov.) Brian Sandoval, Sen. Dean Heller, the (Clark County) sheriff (Doug Gillespie) and any other elected official in Nevada to do their part to get rid of these armed separatists,” Horsford told the convention delegates.

At what point do armed citizens consider themselves the law, based on little more than their numbers and their guns? The latest news from Bundy Ranch, raises this and many other questions.
The Bureau of Land Management called an end to its gather of Cliven Bundy’s cattle. Even though the agency was well within its rights to take action, considering that Bundy owes more than $1million in unpaid grazing fees, and the courts have repeatedly ruled against him for 20 years, it stood down after well-armed, self-appointed “militias” rush to defend Bundy’s freeloading, rather than give right right-wing another Waco or Ruby Ridge myth to rally around.
The BLM is gone, now, but the militia is still hanging around and beginning to show its dark side. With nothing better to do, Bundy’s “militia” is reportedly setting up “checkpoints” and requiring locals to show proof of residence before being allowed to pass. In a letter to Clark County Sheriff David Gillespie, Rep. Steve Horsford (D, Nevada) describe the checkpoints and other intimidating behavior.
My constituents have expressed concern that members of these armed militia groups:
1. Have set up checkpoints where residents are required to prove they live in the area before being allowed to pass;
2. Have established a persistent presence along federal highways and state and county roads; and
3. Have established an armed presence in or around community areas including local churches, school, and other community locations.

In a speech to the militia members still gathered at Cliven Bundy’s ranch in Nevada last week, Mike Vanderboegh, leader of the militia group Three Percenters, warned that the country is “staring a civil war in its bloody face.”

Vanderboegh’s Three Percenters group, named after the number of American colonists they believe fought against the British in the revolutionary war, was listed in a recent Oath Keepers press release as a stalwart of the standoff at the Bundy ranch. Vandeboegh, who wrote a novel that allegedly inspired a domestic terrorist plot in 2011, is also known for his role in pushing the “Fast and Furious” scandal.
“All over this country, we are still staring civil war in its bloody face,” Vanderboegh warned the crowd, in a video posted by Tom Lacovara, the host of an anti-government radio show.
Vanderboegh claimed that Sen. Harry Reid, who has criticized the Bundy ranch militias, “is promising us all civil war on a vast scale, because state-sponsored violence is they only way they can win an argument with free people, especially free people who are armed and who are willing to use those arms in defense of liberty.”
Vanderboegh then told the legend of an Alabama woman named Jenny Brooks whose husband and son, according to Vanderboegh’s version of the story, were killed by state law enforcement collecting taxes for the Confederate government. According to the tale, Brooks went after the men who had killed her family, killed two of them in return, and turned one of their skulls into a soap dish.
Vanderboegh then pulled out a skull and declared that he would present it to Reid as the “2014 Award for Incitement to Civil War.”
He added: “Don’t poke the wolverine with a sharp stick, Harry, unless you want your balls ripped off.”

Cliven Bundy’s Militias Now Terrorizing Small Town With Armed Checkpoints
The militias who have been loafing around noted racist and admitted domestic terrorist Cliven Bundy’s ranch defending their bigoted welfare cowboy from attempts to force him to comply with multiple (thus far ignored) court orders that he remove his cattle from taxpayer land have gone from “armed presence” to “full-blown occupation.”
Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford sent a letter to Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie expressing concern for the safety of residents in the Bunkerville area. In the letter, he explained that his constituents have become uneasy with the presence of armed militiamen from across the country.
In fact, they no longer just camp out around the Bundy Ranch. According to Horsford, his constituents have said the militiamen (we would include women, but they are only human shields to these people) have set up checkpoints and require residents to prove that they live in the area before they are allowed to pass–you know, “Show me your papers,” and all that.
The armed domestic terrorists have also set up a “persistent presence” along federal highways and county roads. Some say they have even set up an armed presence in the community.
This is just one more example of the growing concerns surrounding Bundy’s army of militiamen. Federal officials are currently investigating threats made by the group toward Harry Reid after he called them “domestic terrorists” and Bundy a “hateful racist.”
As the situation escalates, we wonder when action against the terrorists will finally be taken. If an armed standoff with government officials and threats against political figures are not enough, perhaps an armed occupation will be.

A police spokesman declined to give further details Monday, citing an ongoing investigation.
Reid, D-Nev., has been an outspoken critic of Cliven Bundy, a Nevada rancher who has thwarted U.S. government efforts to seize his family’s cattle over his failure to pay more than $1 million in grazing fees and penalties for use of government land over the past 20 years.
The Bureau of Land Management was forced to call off a roundup of Bundy’s cattle on April 12 after hundreds of Bundy supporters, including some armed with handguns and rifles, protested. Reid called them “domestic terrorists” and said Bundy was a “hateful racist” after the rancher suggested that African-Americans might have had it better as slaves picking cotton. Reid has called on Republican leaders to denounce what he called Bundy’s “hateful, dangerous extremism.”
If there is one ounce of bloodshed, those responsible for inciting folks to violence should be arrested and thrown in jail.
About ten maybe fifteen years ago this Jewish rabbi died. He was buried in a cemetery that’s located in a black neighborhood. The Jews believed this Rabbi was going to come back alive and they held a vigil near the cemetery. The area was blocked off and only people who lived in the surrounding area were permit to enter by showing proof. The Rabbi didn’t come back but the Jews brought the houses in the area for millions of dollars. My point is some people think they have the rights to do whatever they want and get away with it. These Jews took over that block sitting, walking and littering on the property of the residents that lived there. And that was okay it was just hard working middle class black folks.
