🚨 NEW: The Joe & Jill Biden Foundation has approved a 13-person governance board to guide the project. Members include Secretary of State Antony Blinken, longtime adviser Steve Ricchetti, and Rufus Gifford, a leading Democratic fundraiser who will serve as chair.

Biden’s team has already met with officials from nearly every existing presidential library, as well as leaders from the Obama Presidential Center, to learn from their experiences. They’ve also begun conversations with Delaware leaders to explore locations and partnerships.

The project is still in the early stages, but estimates suggest the cost will fall between the Obama Presidential Center and the George H.W. Bush Library. This will be a lasting home for President Biden’s legacy of service, unity, and democracy — right in his home state of Delaware.
