“Ticking Time Bomb”: A Pregnant Mother Kept Getting Sicker. She Died After She Couldn’t Get an Abortion in Texas.
ProPublica has found multiple cases of women with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions. Tierra Walker, a 37-year-old mother, was told by doctors there was no emergency before preeclampsia killed her.

Tierra Walker had reached her limit. In the weeks since she’d learned she was pregnant, the 37-year-old dental assistant had been wracked by unexplained seizures and mostly confined to a hospital cot. With soaring blood pressure and diabetes, she knew she was at high risk of developing preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication that could end her life.

Her mind was made up on the morning of Oct. 14, 2024: For the sake of her 14-year-old son, JJ, she needed to ask her doctor for an abortion to protect her health.

“Wouldn’t you think it would be better for me to not have the baby?” she asked a physician at Methodist Hospital Northeast near San Antonio, according to her aunt. Just a few years earlier, Walker had developed a dangerous case of preeclampsia that had led to the stillbirth of her twins.

But the doctor, her family said, told her what many other medical providers would say in the weeks that followed: There was no emergency; nothing was wrong with her pregnancy, only her health.

Just after Christmas, on his birthday, JJ found his mom draped over her bed, lifeless. An autopsy would later confirm what she had feared: Preeclampsia killed her at 20 weeks pregnant.

Walker’s death is one of multiple cases ProPublica is investigating in which women with underlying health conditions died after they were unable to end their pregnancies.

Walker had known that abortion was illegal in Texas, but she had thought that hospitals could make an exception for patients like her, whose health was at risk.

Dead at 37. Now, her living son has no mother.

The point is not that a better-for-the-district candidate would have flipped TN-7. The point is that a godawful-for-the-district candidate seems to have cut the Republican margin by nearly 2/3. This was a pure test of Trump toxicity, and the results are flashing bright.

BREAKING: Fox News host Jessica Tarlov destroys MAGA hack Jesse Watters for trying to defend Pete Hegseth’s Caribbean “double-tap” war crime as the White House scrambles to do damage control.

This just went off like a bomb in pro-Trump living rooms across the country…

“All right, so Jessica, it takes two strikes to knock the boat down to the bottom of the ocean. How is that a war crime?” asked Watters, who habitually defends everything that this administration does.

It doesn’t matter how fascist or blatantly criminal MAGA becomes, Watters will reliably support Trump and his cronies because he has no actual principles or beliefs. He only cares about courting the MAGA base and ingratiating himself with Trump.

“Well, it’s a war crime,” said Tarlov bluntly. “And we didn’t play any Republicans, but there were plenty of them that have been talking about it, like John Yoo, who was the architect of the Bush 9-11 response, was talking about this as well, that if there are people who are shipwrecked, which is what these two survivors were—”

    “Survivors?” interjected Watters.

“They survived the first strike,” said Tarlov.

“They’re terrorists Jessica, They’re not survivors,” insisted Watters.

Of course, there’s no good evidence that the victims were drug traffickers, let alone terrorists. The Trump administration is desperately pushing the “narco-trafficker” label for these victims to justify these killings. They realize on some level that assassinating alleged drug smugglers is a gross violation of the law. If they really believe that these people are trafficking narcotics, they should arrest them and try them in a court of law.

“You know… That’s how the DOD manual says that you have to do it, that you have to take them, you should send a helicopter and get them out of there, and then you try them or— ,” Tarlov continued.

    “Huhuhuh what?” chuckled Watters.

“International law also says that as well,” said Tarlov. “You could play [Senator] Roger Wicker talking about it, Senator Thom Tillis, Mike Turner. These are all Republicans saying it. So the narrative that this is about the left getting all hot and bothered about another hoax is absolutely beautiful.”

“Can I just ask you one question?” said Watters.

“No, you can’t, actually,” shot back Tarlov. “You already asked me a question.”

    “Please, I insist,” said Watters.

“No, I insist you stop,” said Tarlov.

Hegseth himself has dismissed the reporting that he ordered a second illegal strike to take out the survivors of a boat strike in September as “fabricated, inflammatory, and derogatory.” The victims were clinging to the wreckage and Hegseth allegedly ordered them murdered in cold blood, perhaps out of a fear that they would survive and it would turn out that they weren’t drug smugglers after all.

At a Pentagon brief earlier today, Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson trotted out the administration’s scapegoat for this atrocity. She said that the decision to hit the “narco terrorist vessel” a second time was made by Admiral Frank M. Bradley. Clearly, they’re trying to insulate Hegseth from the legal consequences of his actions.

A full Congressional investigation must be launched immediately. If he violated the law, Hegseth must be removed from power, prosecuted, and incarcerated.

Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Jessica Tarlov!

🚨 SNAPCHAT JUST FLIPPED ON A SETTING THAT CAN TRAIN AI WITH YOUR FACE, VOICE & SAVED SNAPS – AND MOST PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA

A viral video is exploding after a creator uncovered a hidden Snapchat setting that gives the app permission to use your face, your voice, and even your saved snaps to train their AI systems – and the craziest part?

    It’s automatically turned ON.

She shows exactly where it’s buried:

Settings → Privacy & Data → Generative AI Settings → “Allow Use of Public Content”

Inside that toggle is the permission that lets Snapchat:

    • scan your saved snaps
    • map your facial data
    • analyze your voice patterns
    • store it
    • and then feed it into AI training

People checking their phones are finding it enabled without ever touching it.

    The reactions are full panic:

“Mine was ON. I never even saw this.”
    “This should be illegal.”
“They’re training AI with kids’ faces???”
    “Turning this OFF immediately.”
“No app should get to do this without permission.”

The creator even turned it off on her little brother’s account because he had no idea Snapchat could use his data this way.

Between deepfakes, AI clones, and identity scraping, users are calling this Snapchat’s “creepiest update yet.”

Is this the future of social media… or a massive privacy line being crossed?

Hedgie (@HedgieMarkets) posted at 1:26 PM on Tue, Dec 02, 2025:

🦔Northwestern and University of Chicago researchers found that once homeownership looks impossible, behavior shifts dramatically. The share of millennial renters with zero down payment savings jumped to 67% in 2023 from 48% in 2018. Among renters with net worth under $300,000, those admitting to low work effort is 4-6%, twice the rate of homeowners. The median house price was 5.81 times median household income in 2022, up from 4.52 in 2010 and 3.57 in 1984.

    The Behavior Shift
The researchers found hope of homeownership affects how people work, consume, and invest. When that hope fades, people stop saving for down payments, demand more work-life balance, and pursue high-risk investments like crypto as a last resort. Renters with low ownership odds “effectively live hand-to-mouth with negligible asset accumulation.” That behavior carries over: children of parents who lost hope are more likely to give up too.

    My Take
This explains doom spending, quiet quitting, and crypto gambling. They’re not random trends, they’re rational responses when homeownership becomes mathematically impossible. The median home is $439,701 against median income of $83,730. Investors are buying a third of all homes. People do the math and stop trying. Why save for a down payment you’ll never reach? Why work harder when it won’t matter? Why not gamble on crypto when the traditional path is blocked? The researchers found by age 40, most renters have decided whether they have a shot at ownership. An entire generation is hitting that age and deciding no. When hope disappears, behavior changes, which makes ownership even less attainable. The children of renters who gave up are more likely to give up too. This isn’t just a housing crisis, it’s a generational wealth trap that feeds on itself.

NEW INVESTIGATION🚨 As the Trump administration escalates its immigration enforcement operations, the federal watchdog system at DHS overseeing civil rights violations has been gutted so thoroughly that it could be laying the groundwork for the Trump administration to “abuse people with impunity,” experts warn.

I spoke with five recently dismissed DHS civil rights officials. The already limited oversight practiced within the DHS prior to Jan 2025 now appears almost nonexistent.

Recent figures show *only nine people total* are employed at the civil rights office — down from 150.

Before they were dismissed, civil rights officials were investigating grave allegations of civil rights abuses. Among the cases were the following allegations:

🔴Border Patrol agents in Arizona forcibly injected a man with ketamine to sedate him in 2023.
🔴Guards at a privately owned Louisiana detention center in 2024 pepper sprayed around 200 detained immigrants then locked them in the unit and cut the power and water for hours.
🔴In a Florida jail, a 33-year-old immigrant woman with mental health problems was forcibly stripped naked, strapped to a restraint chair and mocked by male guards.

THE CONSTITUTIONAL PARADOX NO ONE IS DISCUSSING

A sitting American President just claimed authority to declare his predecessor mentally unfit and void 4,245 acts of clemency.

    No court ruling.
    No Federal Register filing.
    No legal mechanism.

    Just a Truth Social post.

The facts that should terrify every American:

Trump’s November 28 declaration claims 92% of Biden documents are “terminated.” His December 2 escalation explicitly targets pardons and commutations, warning recipients their clemency is “of no legal effect.”

Yet his own Department of Justice ruled in 2005 that presidents “need not personally perform the physical act of affixing a signature” and may direct subordinates to use autopen.

Stanford constitutional scholars confirm the Constitution does not require pardons to be written at all.

Zero autopen signatures have been invalidated in 222 years of American history.

And here is where it fractures: Two weeks before declaring Biden’s autopen signatures void, forensic document experts confirmed to the Associated Press that Trump’s own November 7 pardons bore identical mechanically reproduced signatures. The DOJ quietly replaced them, calling it a “technical error.”

The Pardon Attorney admits in writing there exists “no mechanism or precedent to reverse a pardon issued by a past president.”

This is not law. This is information warfare dressed as constitutional remedy.

The strategy requires no legal success. By creating uncertainty around 80 pardons and 4,165 commutations, it forces Fauci, Milley, and the January 6 Committee to live under perpetual legal threat while litigating the past rather than contesting the future.

What you are witnessing is the attempted retroactive decoupling of the state from the acts of the state.

The question is no longer about signatures.

It is whether executive power now extends backward through time itself.

USCIS just dropped the memo we have all been waiting for and this one is the most aggressive yet and goes a bit further.

Here’s what it actually does (in plain English):

    1. Full asylum freeze — for EVERYONE.
    Not just high-risk countries.
    Not just certain categories.
ALL I-589 asylum cases are paused nationwide.

“Place a hold on all Forms I-589… regardless of nationality.”

    2. All pending applications from 19 countries are frozen.
    This includes:
    Green cards (I-485)
    ROC (I-751)
    Green card replacement (I-90)
    Parole/travel docs (I-131)
    N-470, etc.

If you are from one of the 19 listed countries, everything stops until DHS completes “security checks.”

    3. Mandatory interviews for all.
    No waivers.
Every single case must be interviewed even if normally exempt.

    4. Retroactive re-review of previously approved cases.

Anyone from these countries who entered the U.S. since Jan 20, 2021 may be re-investigated.

    This includes:
    People with green cards
    People with EADs
    People who already passed interviews
    Travel documents
    Even some naturalization applicants

    5. DHS may expand the dragnet even further.
The memo says they may extend re-review to people who entered before 2021.

This is the broadest operational immigration freeze USCIS has issued in decades.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Trump administration’s maneuvers to keep the president’s former lawyer Alina Habba in place as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor were illegal and she is disqualified, a federal appeals court said Monday.
A panel of judges from the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sitting in Philadelphia sided with a lower court judge’s ruling after hearing oral arguments at which Habba herself was present on Oct. 20.
