    The first thing the Obamas and Bidens should be doing for military families, is Stopping The Wars. We have had 10 years of War, now aparently without end, and then President Obama attacks Libya Without Approval Of Congress. in 2007 US Senator Biden said
    “I want to make clear..the president has no authority to unilaterally attack Iran..if he does..I will move to impeach him.” http://huff.to/gGMnJs

    Today Obama attacks Libya without Congress’ approval, but Democrats won’t threaten impeachment when a Democrat violates our Constitution.

    If Vice President Biden was telling the truth to voters in 2007, he should be calling first for Obama’s Impeachment and in addition Biden
    should be running against Obama in the 2012 Democratic Presidential Primary…
    If Biden was telling voters the truth in 2007.

    I’m a 46 year Democratic voter and that is my opinion.

      Angry much, aren’t you, John. War is a bitch, and you can think teh Bush regime for this. PBO knows what he’s doing, and he did NOT violate the constitution.

      I’m sure you’d love for him to be impeached, but sorry, that’s not going to happen.

      Pull the leaver for the RE-publican next year; I’m sure they’ll end those wars lickety split.

      You do realize Bush started those Wars, right? And by lying to Congress that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. President Obama violated nothing. This mission in Libya was backed by the United Nations, The House Foreign Affairs and Intelligen­ce Committees & The Arab league. It was morally right! President Obama is a very smart man & knows what he is doing. No one is going to put the black guy out of the White House. Get over it!

    HAPPENING NOW: Sen. Kay Hagan takes stage at First Ladys Event

    CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Sen. Kay Hagan, First Gentleman Bob Eves, and Gen. Jensen all took the stage moments ago at an event where First Lady Michelle Obama will speak later.

    — Previous Story —It’s a big day for the east because some big name guests are stopping by, all in an effort to support our military men and women.

    Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will be at Camp Lejeune this morning. The first spouses will speak to an estimated 3,000 military personnel and family members at 9:30 a.m. After that, the pair will join Martha Stewart at 10:15 a.m. for a baby shower for 40 pregnant women who are married to servicemen. They will be delivering gifts to the women and teaching them scrapbooking.

    Of course Nine on Your Side will bring you complete team coverage of this event throughout the day right on Eyewitness News 9 and WNCT.com.

    CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – Officials at Camp Lejeune are busy getting ready for Michelle Obama to visit.

    Thousands are expected to attend the event tomorrow morning and that means there is a lot to do between now and then.

    Nat Fahy said “Getting all of those people, three-thousand into the field house takes quite a bit of coordination”.

    It’s no easy task. Camp Lejeune officials are working around the clock, getting ready for the First Lady to arrive on base.

    She will join the wife of Vice President Joe Biden to kick off a tour honoring military members and those who support them.

    Fahy said there is no better place to do that, “We literally wrote the book on military care, this community and everything it stands for. It’s all about military care”.

    As you can imagine, security on base will be extremely tight.

    Fahy said “To accommodate the Secret Service and their security needs and to try to do that and allow the most number of people to view the First Lady”.

    At 9:30 in the morning, the First Lady will address a crowd of thousands of Marines and their families.

    She will then take part in Operation Shower. It is a baby shower for 40 pregnant military wives whose husbands are deployed.

    Leann Morrissey said “We just think it is such a great time, as they are trying to do, recognize the sacrifices and honor the moms”.

    Base officials said this is the biggest event at Camp Lejeune since the President visited deploying troops back in February of 2009.

    Martha Stewart will also be on base to attend the baby shower for the Marine wives.
