Adam Pollock Saved Zimmerman’s Life

(Cross posted from Blackbutterfly7.wordpress.com)

George Zimmerman told Adam Pollock that he helped save his life.

Adam Pollock, the 43-year-old owner of Kokopelli’s Gym in Longwood, Fla. where Zimmerman trained in grappling and boxing, was arrested March 11, 2013 and awaits trial on charges of battery and assault.  His next hearing is scheduled for September 17, 2013 at 9 a.m.

Adam Pollock and George Zimmerman have several things in common.

1.  Pollock lied to the police, and only admitted to seeing the victim, Tina Mangiardi, after police told they obtained surveillance footage of him following her out of the gym that day.  Pollock also denied touching Mangiardi until police told him that one reason he was being arrested is because of marks on Mangiardi’s arm.

2.  Pollock claims that he might have slapped the victim and put his hand on her neck, but it was in self-defense.

Also like George Zimmerman, since his arrest, Pollock appears clean-shaven.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Zimmerman police photoZimmerman at bond hearing

Since the verdict in the George Zimmerman case, Pollock appeared on the Dr. Drew program on HLN.  He revealed that his testimony describing Zimmerman as “soft” was actually hearsay, stated by another trainer.  How is it possible for a man to describe another man as “soft” unless they have had physical contact with each other?

The Department of Justice might do well to interview that trainer, in addition to others attending Kokopelli’s Gym when Zimmerman attended.  He just might have gotten the reputation for being “soft” the Friday or Saturday before the Sunday that he killed Trayvon Martin.

In the following video, Pollock tells the Dr. Drew panel that George Zimmerman thanked him for saving his life, and accredited that to Pollock teaching him how to “shrimp.”   It shows that if Zimmerman was able to “shrimp,” that Trayvon could not have punched him about his head and face.  According to George Zimmerman, “shrimping” saved his life.  Since shrimping saved Zimmerman’s life, killing Trayvon Martin did not.

African-Americans leave café after white customer complains
    41 mins ago
When Michael Brown wanted to have a going-away dinner for his cousin, the Charleston, S.C., man planned an afternoon at Wild Wing Café. Their group of 25 people had been waiting for a table for over two hours when a restaurant staffer told Brown that she was having a hard time seating them because one of their customers “felt threatened.” (Brown and his group are all African-American; the customer who complained reportedly was white.) “[It] totally alarmed all of us because we’re sitting there peaceably for two hours,” Brown said. “Obviously, if we were causing any conflict, we would have been ejected hours before.”

Brown shared his story on Wild Wing’s Facebook page and was later contacted by their chief marketing officer who, after a long chat, offered him a free meal. “This is not a situation where you can just give us a free meal and everything is OK,” Brown said. “Because it’s deeper than that.”

  4. Lawyer: George Zimmerman should not be visiting gun factories

    http://news.yahoo.com/lawyer-george-zimmerman-should-not-be-visiting-gun-factories-174609071.html

The attorney who helped murder defendant George Zimmerman win a controversial acquittal last month was frustrated to learn his client toured a gun factory on Thursday.

According to TMZ, the former neighborhood crime watchman visited Kel-Tec firearms, the company that manufactured the semi-automatic handgun Zimmerman used in the fatal confrontation with Trayvon Martin.

“We certainly would not have advised him to go to the factory that made the gun that he used to shoot Trayvon Martin through the heart,” Shawn Vincent, a spokesman for attorney Mark O’Mara, told Yahoo News. “That was not part of our public relations plan.”

News of Zimmerman’s visit to the gunmaker comes just six weeks after a jury found him not guilty in the 2012 shooting death of Martin, an unarmed black teenager in Sanford, Fla. The trial was televised to a wide audience, and his acquittal led to nationwide protests and prompted President Barack Obama to speak out on the case.

According to the TMZ story, Zimmerman got a personal tour of the Cocoa, Fla., facility from the son of Kel-Tec’s founder and owner. The story includes a picture of Zimmerman and a man wearing a Kel-Tec shirt. TMZ says it was taken on the assembly plant floor. The entertainment website reported that Zimmerman inquired about purchasing a tactical shotgun; however Kel-Tec’s website says the company doesn’t sell firearms directly to the public.

Late Friday afternoon, Kel-Tec sent Yahoo News a statement “concerning this leaked bit of information by someone unassociated with Kel-Tec.”

“He simply wanted to see the manufacturing facility,” the statement said of Zimmerman’s visit. “This is a common occurrence with our customer base that live close by or may be traveling through.”

The statement implied that Zimmerman specifically inquired about a tactical shotgun he is apparently interested in purchasing.

once more you are on it and I thank you

  7. Please everyone lets post this info on our blogs and submit these videos and all the evidence and/or info we come across. the DOJ bothered to ask for it, we better well do it! we have to be a united army here if we want some fuckin change!!

****If you wish to provide information or comment concerning the federal investigation into the death of Trayvon Martin or related to the Sanford (Florida) Police Department, you can send a message to: Sanford.Florida@usdoj.gov ****

yeah I noticed he also said on dr drew that z went to see him THE VERY NEXT DAY after the killing but said in court he didn’t remember the exact date and that is was w/I a few days of the killing! he’s a fuckin liar and violent pos too! I hope he’s locked up for attacking the woman and for helping z by lying in court! omar is such a pos too. I’ll be keeping my eye on him too. he needs to at the very least answer for misusing the court by filing those fake motions and LYING STRAIGHT UP to the judge!
even the president of the association of criminal defense lawyers said omar was out of bounds for those motions right after the jury notices went out. I hope someone is paying attention over there!!

    • this guy is sleaze ball greasy pos too. it’s like all the other ppl z hangs w. including he creepy ass brother! I hate that Trayvon had to die looking at that pos putting his filthy hands on him! it’s sickening. poor baby I swear this is so not fair.

@Shannon. O’Mara and West danced to the music of Zidiots. To say it another way, they pimped each other out. O’Mara was not only responsible for trying to raise money for legal costs, but also Zimmerman’s living expenses. That makes things very personal and is against ethical principles for representing clients.

In that courtroom, O’Mara and West were not defense attorneys. Rather, they were nothing more than street bullies. They bullied everyone from witnesses to Judge Nelson. West goes on record of transforming cross-examination into interrogation because he could not get Rachel Jeantel to say what he wanted.

Let’s go back — remember that O’Mara wanted Judge Lester removed from the case on the basis that he was not impartial and would not give Zimmerman a fair immunity hearing. Fast forward — he waived the immunity hearing. IMHO, the only reason O’Mara took that issue before the appellate court was to impress Zidiots.

      • roderick2012 says:

        I agree and disagree Xena.

I believe that Zimmerman had big money backers from the beginning and O’Mara only begged for donations to gain sympathy for George from the potential jury pool and cast this case as a David vs. Goliath and of course it worked.

Has anyone investigated how much West or O’Mara donated to Judge Nelson’s election campaign last year?

“George Zimmerman did not shoot Trayvon Martin because he had to. He shot him for the worst of all reasons – because he wanted to.”
    John Guy

By now there must be trillions of words spoken and written about George Zimmerman and the murder of Trayvon Martin. But the truth is, this wasn’t very complicated. Zimmerman bought the gun and carried it loaded and ready to fire. Zimmerman was going to kill someone unless someone killed him first. Zimmerman wanted to kill someone exactly like Trayvon Martin. He prepared for it and he did it. The prosecutor had it right.

    • Ametia says:

My head ACHES, every time I think about the Zimmerman trial. It really was an (OBE )Out of body experience. Because any SANE human being could see through the pure theatrics, the lies, the deception, and outright RACIAL animus on display in that court room.

      • Liza says:

I totally agree, Ametia. For someone to believe that Zimmerman had any justifiable reason to kill Trayvon requires that person to eliminate all logic and all common sense, ignore all of the verifiable evidence, disbelieve the only witness that mattered, and disbelieve that the person screaming on the 911 tape is the one who died. And no one would do all of that unless they just simply wanted Zimmerman to get away with it. The jury had three of those and three who didn’t seem to care one way or the other.

    • rikyrah says:

      Zimmerman

      stalked
      hunted
      murdered

      Trayvon Martin

      period

    • Xena says:

@Liza. Kinda strange, isn’t it, that Zimmerman bought a gun to shoot a dog off lease, but who had not done any harm to anyone. He eventually used the gun to shoot a teen who was walking freely, going home, who had not done any harm to anyone.

      • Liza says:

Yeah, people like Zimmerman shoot dogs for practice. Of course, Zimmerman didn’t need practice, he had no hesitation in pulling the trigger or tormenting his victim. Zimmerman is that absolute worst combination of killer and coward.

      • racerrodig says:

I will state again Fogen was of the ilk that having a gun and not using it on someone was like buying a hammer and never installing a nail with it.

Fogen was going to happen to somebody, and along came Trayvon. Fogen will get his. This “Hey look at me at the gun factory” won’t sit right with someone. I see it coming. Keep flaunting it Fogen…….the world is watching.

  9. Adam Pollock is a limp dick lying prick!

    • Xena says:

@SG2. He’s a liar, but not a very good one. Pollock opened that gym in March 1999. He says that he is a professional MMA fighter, but no media has reported any of his bouts. Looks like some reporter would have contacted whatever association organizes MMA fighting to verify Pollock’s reputation and credentials.

  10. George Zimmerman went & bought himself a tactical shotgun to keep himself in the news. The skin head racist is taunting the victim’s family!

    • Xena says:

@SG2. Until the press or someone else looks into who took the photograph, don’t believe it. That photo was photoshopped. The head is too large for the body and it’s a different color than the neck and hands. I think that’s the same head shot of GZ at the hospital with Junior. No one can lose that much weight in a month either.

    • racerrodig says:

I’m thinking that shiny new shot gun, with a range of about 40 yards, and wholly illegal to tote about, will take a back seat to that 30.06 Winchester with a range of say…….a mile when used with the proper scope.

      Hey…….FogenPhoole started this shit….certainly not I.

  11. Ametia says:

Ummm, Didn’t Pollock sit on the witness stand and tell the jury that Zimmerman’s training was just plain lousy and a complete FAILURE?

    • Xena says:

@Ametia. Yep, something like that. He said that Zimmerman joined the gym in 2010 and started training at a .5 and advanced to a 1.0. He accomplished nothing (according to Pollock) other than dropping about 80 lbs. So it took Zimmerman almost 2 yrs to drop 80 lbs, but only 5 mths to gain a 100.

  12. Yahtc says:

    Superb….ABSOLUTELY superb, Xena!

I cannot begin to imagine the time and careful thought you have put into your article and video!

You patiently examined the testimony and TV interview of Adam Pollock as well as George Zimmerman’s statements in order to select just the right clips to prove your point. You have hit a home run! a grand slam!

George Zimmerman has no idea how he will always be viewed! He has no idea how the evidence (which was never carefully examined during jury deliberation) will always follow him. He will always be PURSUED by that evidence!

I pray that the DOJ will answer their high MORAL calling and use all of that evidence to go after George Zimmerman.

    • Xena says:

@Yahtc. You’re right on when saying that Zimmerman has no idea how he will always be viewed. His NEN call made a historical record. He will always be known as the man who referred to Trayvon in the plural; got out of his truck and followed him; then omitted to the police that he told the dispatcher to have the cop call for his location. If he had not done anything wrong, he would not have omitted that fact.

The DOJ should investigate Kokopelli’s Gym and Adam Pollock. There’s something that doesn’t sit right. If Zimmerman was so slow in learning, Pollock should have told him to save his gym membership fees and join Weight Watchers.

      • Ametia says:

THIS: “If Zimmerman was so slow in learning, Pollock should have told him to save his gym membership fees and join Weight Watchers.”

LYING LIARS AND THE LIES THEY TELL…

        • Xena says:

@Ametia. Right. It wasn’t just any kind of gym. Koppelli’s is a “fight” gym. Something is wrong when a member pays membership for almost 2 yrs but does not advance. So, either Zimmerman did learn and Pollock is lying, or Zimmerman wasn’t learning and Pollock was happy to take his money anyway, or Zimmerman patronized that gym for a reason unassociated with “working out.”

If the dieting worked, then it should have continued working when Zimmerman stopped attending the gym. As we can see, it didn’t. That leaves process of elimination — it was something else that Zimmerman could only get at THAT gym that caused him to lose weight.

Thank you for this!! Excellent video.
