Just in case some folks haven’t read the New York Times OP ED by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin

HERE TIS:  Op-Ed Contributor A Plea for Caution From Russia What Putin Has to Say to Americans About Syria By VLADIMIR V. PUTIN-Published: September 11, 2013

It comes as NO surprise that Pat BU-KKKLANAN would hail Putin’s op ed a MASTERpiece. Pat Buchanan Praises Putin NYT Op-ed: ‘Outstanding Piece’

Here are a few links of  great rebuttals to the bullshit Putin penned in the NYTs.

    Yes, Vladimir, America is exceptional
By Eugene Robinson, Published: September 12

As I read Vladimir Putin’s sanctimonious op-edabout U.S. policy in Syria, I imagined the Russian president sitting at the keyboard in a lovely pink negligee.

You will recall that when a satirical painting of Putin in lingerie went on display last month in St. Petersburg, police seized the offending artwork and shut down the exhibit. The artist, Konstantin Altunin, fled the country and is seeking asylum in France. No doubt he wanted to avoid the fate of the punk rock group Pussy Riot, three of whose members were arrested and sentenced to years in prison for an anti-Putin performance in a Moscow cathedral.

So when Putin tries to lecture “the American people and their political leaders” from a position of moral superiority, no one on earth can take him seriously. As for Syria, the sinister and barbarous government of dictator Bashar al-Assad would not last one week without the military hardware that Russia generously provides. Putin thus has the blood of tens of thousands of civilians on his hands.

Putin’s piece in the New York Times does raise an interesting question, however: Has President Obama, the patient seeker of multilateral solutions, now embraced the idea of American exceptionalism?

You remind me of my friend from high school. Kelly use to speak truth just like you. She was a cheerleader, white, beautiful inside & out and very popular. Folks loved her b/c she was the real deal. She wasn’t raised around our area but moved in from the city. She taught people by her actions. I liked that so much in her.

The media’s cries of Obama’s weak, slow to act, not ready, disorganized, changes his mind, is their way of saying HE WON’T DO WHAT WE WANT, WHEN & HOW WE WANT IT.

I haven’t really commented on the NYTimes publishing the Op-Ed, because to be honest, I was just absorbing it.

Since January 20, 2009, I thought that I had seen all the ways that this President could be disrespected, but time after time, I have been proven wrong.

If anyone would tell me that any major newspaper, would publish an Op-Ed from the former head of the KBG who goes around the world murdering his opponents in plain sight, and allow him to lecture the United States, ABOUT ANYTHING, I just would have never believed it.

    White folks is something.

They have lost their fucking minds.

Since the moment Barack Obama was elected President, they have lost their fucking minds.

They can’t stand it – neither the left or the right

That this smart as hell, brilliant man and politician is President of the United States.

He has given them NOTHING by which they can tear him down.

    Not that they haven’t tried.

He is the most polled about President in the history of the Presidency.

I have commented for years that it’s a miracle that the President has any approval ratings at all, considering that the coverage of his Presidency has been proven to be 90% negative. When that study came out, it was a lightbulb moment for me that has never left.

AIN’T NO WAY that anyone’s coverage could be 90% unless it WAS ON PURPOSE.

And, despite their asses, this President was re-elected, as he and his team WENT AROUND THEM.

They don’t realize that their denigration of THE PRESIDENCY doesn’t end with Barack Obama.

If the next President is White, you just don’t get to put that genie back in the bottle.

And they still don’t get it…every non-White person who isn’t a sellout is observing this…

They continue to believe that we lived on Mars during the previous 43 White Presidents, and that they are just ‘ that slick’ that the shyt they do goes over our heads.

Now, you can call me a tinfoil hat wearer if you want to, but here it is:

They’ve been mad ever since the President stepped up to the microphone and said,

” You know what…let’s get the Congress to VOTE on Syria.”

From that moment, President Barack Obama fucked their shyt up.

He fucked up their plans that they had for ‘ war coverage’.

He fucked up their plans to say Syria=Iraq every hour upon the hour.

He fucked up their plans that they had to go along with the Republicans when they were going to attempt to impeach this President if he had gone into Syria. They would have played the ‘ but there must be something’ card bullshyt just like they did when they didn’t call out the birthers for what they were- fucking racists.

Then comes the ‘ well, maybe we will give up control of our chemical weapons stash’ without one American missile being launched, and their mouths are hanging open…they can’t stand it.

No….President Barack Obama upended all that, and keeps on walking, and they don’t know what to do.

So, in the throes of Obama Derangement Syndrome, they pimp Assad, and Vladimir Putin.

THAT is how desperate they are.

So, like others, I sit and observe the disrespect being shown this President. ….and like others, I’m taking names and my memory will be long.

They think somebody is playing with them.

NOBODY is playing with them…and those that aren’t right, don’t be surprised when you get knocked upside the head by that reality.

    Tinfoil hat out.

Republicans Unite Behind Putin the Dictator In Order to Diss Obama

With Republicans falling over themselves to hug Putin while aiding Assad in his messaging, and Putin following Republicans lead to take digs at “American exceptionalism” when Obama says it, it’s hard to know who the “bad guys” are these days.

So we get this from the New York Times: “Obama: Weak or the anti-Bush?”

Republicans et al are elevating Putin in order to tend their bitter Obama wounds; thus, because Putin had an op-ed on the NYT in which he swaggered a lot (remarkably like another “dictator”, Bush — an accusation made by constitutional lawyers), Obama is “weak”. This is the conclusion of his usual detractors, and since many Republicans are saying it, it’s also become the takeaway and the trickle down beltway auto-looping narrative of the day.

Please tell me what’s so hard to understand that Syria cannot be allowed to gas thousands of its citizens, and that PBO’s goal the entire time was to get to that point of understanding and say and do whatever was necessary to deter further use of said Sarin gas attacks on Syrian peoples.

Syria applies to join global poison gas ban as Kerry, Lavrov meet

(Reuters) – Syria applied on Thursday to sign up to the global ban on chemical weapons, as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed a Russian plan under which Damascus would give up its arsenal of poison gas.

The United Nations said it had received Syria’s application to join the Chemical Weapons Convention, shortly after President Bashar al-Assad promised to deliver it within days. Washington immediately warned Syria against stalling tactics to avoid military strikes.

As he began talks in Geneva with Lavrov, Kerry said force might still be needed against Syria if diplomacy over Assad’s chemical weapons stockpile fails.

“President Obama has made clear that should diplomacy fail force might be necessary to deter and degrade Assad’s capacity to deliver these weapons,” Kerry said.

Syria applied on Thursday to sign up to the global ban on chemical weapons, a major first step in a Russian-backed plan that would see it abandon its arsenal of poison gas to avert U.S. military strikes.

The United Nations said it had received Syria’s application to join the Chemical Weapons Convention, shortly after President Bashar al-Assad promised to deliver it within days.
