My sister, who is about a tenth as political as I am, watched This Week today. She was so disgusted.

She was like, ‘ did you know they’re trying to call President Obama the weakest President out there?’

I was like, ‘ oh really?’

She was like, ‘ yeah, can you believe that bullshyt?

And that Tavis Smiley….everybody knows he hates the President.”

    Me : ” you think?”

Her: ‘ totally obvious. it’s the only reason that George let him on the panel.’

I just shook my head like GLH’s Little Old Lady gif.

but, if someone non-political like my sister can see thru the MSM’s bull and Travis…I’m ok.

You don’t have the mother of Gospel Music Shirley Cesar, Dionne Warwick, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight show up and not have Jesus show up. Jesus showed up and showed out.

      I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT.

I watched this when it first came on. Back then, it was on the VCR.

This will remain on the DVR until I have to turn in the DVR for another model.

The entire weekend STILL is beyond divine, all these years later.

“FBI searching for S.F. man suspected of possessing explosive materials”

    http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-fbi-search-explosives-san-francisco-20140601-story.html
The FBI is searching for a San Francisco man who is suspected of possessing explosive materials at his home and should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said Sunday.

The FBI’s announcement came after an extensive search of 42-year-old Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II’s apartment at the corner of Jackson and Polk streets in the city’s Russian Hill neighborhood, according to KTVU-TV Channel 2.

Investigators in protective suits searched Chamberlain’s apartment for several hours Saturday. A local TV station reported that agents found a large stash of what appeared to be the deadly poison ricin, but FBI spokesman Peter Lee said Sunday authorities do not believe the white substance was ricin.

The apartment complex was not evacuated during the search, and Lee said there was “no threat to public safety.”

The FBI described Chamberlin as white, six-foot-three and weighing about 225 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

    AT 4:05 PM JUNE 01, 2014

Authorities said Chamberlain was last seen driving a white 2008 Nissan Altima with either with either California or Texas license plates 7FQY085 and BX9M042, respectively.

Building owner Martin Harband told the station that Chamberlain has rented an apartment in the complex for the last two years. He said Chamberlain “seemed normal,” never showing signs of unusual behavior.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact their nearest FBI office or dial 911. The FBI can be reached 24 hours a day at 415-553-7400 in the San Francisco area. All calls are confidential. Tips can also be submitted at: tips.fbi.gov.

    Passing on a clean slate

Yesterday’s release of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was joyous news to his family, his community and his country. But in order to understand the broader importance of this news, it needs to be placed in context.

Following 9/11, the Bush/Cheney administration attempted to put this country on a permanent war footing to fight the global war on terror. In doing so, they took actions that go against our basic ideals as a country and called America’s leadership in the world into question. That included invading another country based on lies, the use of torture and setting up a prison for indefinite detention in Guantanamo Bay. These actions left legal and foreign policy challenges that – while not as imminent as the financial crisis – were necessary to address

Found this in the comments at TOD, and I totally wish Dr. Rice had unloaded like this.

    Go Dr. Rice:

ADDED RICE: “Well, let me put it this way, Candy. Since when do we NOT negotiate with terrorists? We simply followed the precedent set by the great patriotic republican Ronald Reagan, who negotiated with terrorists and gave them weapons to secure the release of an American…except for the part of us giving them weapons.”

Drunk Armed Racists Spark Shootout at Waffle House, Kill Black Cop (Video)

After an exchange of bullets early Saturday morning, off-duty police officer Kevin Jordan was left dead and the man who shot Jordan left in critical condition, shot by Jordan’s brother.

Jordan was working an overnight shift as security at a Waffle House restaurant in Griffith, Georgia, when two men and a woman caused a disturbance around 2:30 a.m., according to Griffin Police Lt. Mike Richardson. Jordan intervened, but the conflict escalated, and the woman, identified as Chantell Mixon, began a physical altercation. According to Cleveland.com:
Jordan was attempting to arrest Mixon when one of the men, Michael Bowman, fired at the officer’s back, Richardson said. Police believe Jordan was shot five times. At least one bullet penetrated the bulletproof vest Jordan was wearing, Richardson said.

Jordan’s brother, Raymond Jordan, had come to the restaurant to visit and fired his weapon, striking Bowman, Richardson said. Raymond Jordan has a valid permit in Georgia, he said. It is not known how many times Bowman was hit or whether he has an attorney.

Raymond Jordan told Atlanta’s Channel 2 that “the only regret I have is that I didn’t kill him.”
