Honor Thy Father: Scandal Episode 418 Recap
    Luvvie — April 3, 2015 2 24

Let’s get into last night’s Scandal, folks!

Team Takedown – David is still hellbent on pursuing B613 and Jake tells him that if they do, they’re all going to die. He wants State Farm to sign the document promising him immunity and he gets slammed on a table and told a forceful NOPE.

Just finished coloring Easter eggs with Peanut. When did they get rid of that metal egg holder. The kit she had today had a large plastic one…..completely useless. Wound up using the hands.

Just back from an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by my Alderman. She’s in a runoff, and I gotta say, the Hunt was a disaster. Not enough eggs for the kids. Only one face painter. Her opponent was there, along with a very strong team, going person to person giving pamphlets about him. He is a supporter of Chuy, and his team made sure that the large portion of Latinos present knew that.

    LOL

There is another negotiation: House Speaker John Boehner and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are conducting a parallel foreign policy. Their purpose: derail the new framework between the five-country coalition and Iran and establish supra-hegemony over Iran and the Middle East, leveraged through the US Congress. The two leaders have a loose but skilled confederation with plans to implement Israel’s full objectives under Netanyahu through Congressional acts.

Their joint effort began in earnest with Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, his election win, and Boehner’s current visit to Israel. Its first act is signaled by Netanyahu’s sudden demand that the framework include a provision to recognize Israel. GOP leaders have previously signaled they will contest any agreement they do not like and are willing to disrupt the process of finalizing the details and schedules–or overturn the whole agreement.

If successful, Republicans will gain control over Israel-related foreign policy. Israel gains hegemony over US-Iran and Middle East relations. Although not at the table and opposed fundamentally, Netanyahu intends exploit the framework to advance his agenda–maintaining sanctions, economically isolating Iran; re-arming–using familiar Congressional brinksmanship to demand full recognition and/or tank the agreement.

King was working on a speech entitled “Why America May Go to Hell” the day that he was assassinated.

They killed Malcolm & Martin for telling the true story of the terror of white supremacy. Never discount the power of the well told story.
