beautiful-christmas-candles-28O Holy Night“ (“Cantique de Noël“) is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem “Minuit, chrétiens” (Midnight, Christians) by Placide Cappeau (1808–1877). Cappeau, a wine merchant and poet, had been asked by a parish priest to write a Christmas poem.[1] Unitarian minister John Sullivan Dwight,[2] editor of Dwight’s Journal of Music, created a singing edition based on Cappeau’s French text in 1855. In both the French original and in the two familiar English versions of the carol, the text reflects on the birth of Jesus and of mankind’s redemption.

Opinion The New ‘Science-driven’ Advocates of White Supremacy

The advocates of racist ideology are no longer thugs with pitchforks, but educated geeks who present themselves as the upholders of rationality and are battling superstitious beliefs

Tiger Woods As Mac Daddy Santa Is The Gift America Deserves, But Not The One It Needs Right Now
    Damon Young, 12/23/16

    ………………………..

Of course, I did not know before yesterday that all it would take to complete me was the image of Tiger Woods as Mac Daddy Santa. And the myriad thoughts spawned by the image of Tiger Woods as Mac Daddy Santa. Including “Is it too late to travel to wherever Tiger Woods is celebrating Christmas because Mac Daddy Santa proved to me that we’ve all been doing Christmas wrong and I need to step my Christmas game up and learn from Tiger Woods, who clearly has made Christmas his bitch?” And “Why does Mac Daddy Santa look like Hulk Hogan in Blackface?” And “Who exactly is Mac Daddy Santa macking on? Lascivious elves? Slutty reindeer? Or is Mac Daddy Santa basically just the North Pole’s version of the Cat Daddy at Essence Festival hollerin at tipsy lawyers at Tank concert afterparties?” And “Why didn’t he crop the nipples out?” And “Are the nipples a statement? The new safety pin? Perhaps his way of communicating solidarity with BlackLivesMatter?” And “I’m immediately 100,000% interested in a reality show about this nigga’s life.” And “Tiger Woods has clearly joined President Obama on the remote and bucolic Nofuckistan Isles. Where fucks are deleted, discarded, dismissed; and, as far as thine eyes can see, thy sees no fucks. Thy entertains no fucks. Thy bears witness to no fucks. And thine diet is filled with delicious gluten and fuck free pastries. Perhaps that’s where he’s celebrating Christmas.”

      He’s always been despicable…he’s a miserable, miserable pr*ck..

But we’ve all been privy to this vile stuff coming from not just faceless racist nutjobs on social media…but also from – and mainstreamed by high-profile and elected folk…

But the right-wingers will scream bloody murder at the slightest innocuous word said about any of their own…

Heck, they’re applauding Melania who is suing some unknown blogger …for vanity reasons..

Should the Obamas sue then, not just for years of incredibly damaging and slanderous attacks, but for the resulting endless serious threats to their lives that have been wrought by these baseless and unprecedented racist attacks..

One would think that now that the President’s time in the White House is almost over…and one of their own is poised to ‘take over’….that the white supremacists would be content and move on…

But that is not the case, they racists aren’t letting up…this is just not about the White House and the presidency…and that tells you everything you need to know…

They are so petrified of the Obamas…and the love and respect they elicit the world over…the unassuming power and influence the white supremacists fear will exceed the presidency as I’ve said…

The racist are at once outraged and petrified that even some of their own relatives, children, grandchildren have ‘fallen under the spell’ of the ‘n’s…and that the buffoon is not being embraced or celebrated as the Obamas were and continue to be…

So while the buffoon is golfing with Tiger Woods…desperately and laughably trying his bloatedly narcissistic darnedest to ‘plagiarize’ President Obama’s cool bona fides…Obsessed with being seen as just as ‘likable and popular’ – and replicating the President’s popularity with, and organic interactions with celebrities…(the buffoon has been obsessively stalking the Obamas for years and is now desperately trying to replicate everything play by play…right down to the actual settings..)

Meanwhile, fellow puffy megalomaniacs Netanyahu and Putin are busy working over the buffoon and playing the buffoon like a fiddle…wooing him with stolen elections and sweet nothings…’love’ letters, daily ego massages, telling him often just how blue his eyes are, how soft his skin is…and just how wonderful and cuddly and lovable he is…Every woman who has ever been wooed by a psychopath must understand that tingling feeling – before the boom…wined and dined and conned…swiped driver’s license and credit card information while she’s not looking…lucky if she gets out of it alive ..and identity theft is the only damage done..

To be so narcissistic and so personally needy and desperate for attention and constant and sustained tweaks to ones ego…Is a common trait in most who seek out and acquire power, and those who crave it…

But the buffoon’s narcissism is way, way off the charts…it is so beyond ridiculous, his mental and emotional arrested development and painful immaturity, his constant need for attention, validation, adulation, ego boosts that reassure him that he’s smart, that he’s nice, that he’s powerful, that he’s popular and liked – by even soulless sociopaths, that his hair is all his and isn’t a transplant creation, and his manhood isn’t consistent with the size of his hands… and all to the complete exclusion of slightest deference to what’s even remotely in the interest – let alone, the best interest, of our country…

“…Russia’s Vladimir Putin said on Friday he was unfazed by President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to boost the U.S. nuclear arsenal, praising Trump for being in touch with U.S. public opinion while branding the Democrats sore election losers.

Speaking at his annual news conference in Moscow, the Russian president said earlier comments he had made about his country’s own military modernization had been misunderstood in the United States and that he accepted that the U.S. military, not Russia’s, was the most powerful in the world.

“In the course of his election campaign he (Trump) spoke about the necessity of strengthening the U.S. nuclear arsenal, and strengthening the armed forces. There’s nothing unusual here,” said Putin.

The Russian leader, speaking in a news conference that lasted just under four hours, fielded questions on everything from Syria to the economy, Ukraine and sports doping.

But he only became really animated when talking about the United States, launching a scathing attack on the Democrats.

He said they had forgotten the meaning of their own name and were sore losers.

“The current administration and the leadership of the Democratic Party are trying to blame all their failures on external factors,” said Putin.

“(We are talking about) a party which has clearly forgotten the original meaning of its own name. They (the Democrats) are losing on all fronts and looking elsewhere for things to blame. In my view this, how shall I say it, degrades their own dignity. You have to know how to lose with dignity.”

Putin dismissed suggestions Moscow had helped Trump to victory in any way however.

“It’s not like that,” he said. “All of this (the accusations) speaks of the current administration’s systemic problems.”

Putin, who spoke positively of Trump before his election win, said that only Moscow had believed in his victory however.

“Trump understood the mood of the people and kept going until the end, when nobody believed in him,” Putin said, adding with a smile. “Except for you and me.”

Putin said he would be willing to visit the United States if Trump invited him and expected U.S.-Russia ties to return to normal now, particularly in the security and economic spheres.

He was more cagey when it came to his own political future though, saying he needed time before deciding whether he would run for president again in 2018. Most Kremlin-watchers believe he will stand and win again.

“I will look at what’s going on in the country, in the world,” said Putin coyly, calling a reporter who had asked him to provide reasons why people would want to vote for him again “a provocateur”…

When the vile, bloodthirsty, ‘former’ KGB, soulless, botoxed-up megalomaniac is suddenly acting all coy and humble …talking up Trump and appearing to ‘humbly’ ‘cede’ greatness to the United States, while bashing the Democrats, you begin to understand that the little man with a napoleonic complex, really understands just what a glaringly vacuous simpleton Trump – and his dumb supporters are…

And he’s already setting the stage to really play them…with the help of the paid moles and loyalists he’s surrounded the buffoon with…and those he’s installing within the too busy preening buffoon’s banana republic cabinet..

Meanwhile, Trump is running around tickled pink, gleefully waving about and showing off the sweet ‘love’ letter Vlad wrote him…

Because as long as Vlad wrote it in a letter…it’s true…

When even Richard Quest is shaking his head and calling it exactly as it is…but the American media is too busy stupidly shining up the turd…and trying to spin and translate as somehow ‘genius’ and ‘high-minded’, the even far less than ridiculously insane and beyond shallow amateur hour playing out before our eyes… too busy correcting and repackaging the never-ending unintelligent boo-boos and arrogant gibberish tumbling out of the mouth, actions and ridiculous tweets of the narcissistic toddler Putin and the oligarchs are all looking to control for their own purposes…

Samantha Power is one of only few folks I think came to her job, not just for self-advancement or self-promotion…but actually wanting to make a difference…I mightn’t always agree with the process or end goals – typically encumbered by rigid structural set-ups, but there’s no denying that she at least knows the issues, has a point of view about stuff – especially where there is a human face and cost…and she tries to move the needle..

And now we get Ms. South Carolina – former garment sales lady turned governor a la Sarah Palin’s path to political ‘success’..
