Bernie Sanders has been posting on FB quite a lot about Trump / Russia, but he is also trying to stay on message about everything else he talked about during the primaries.
I’m okay with this. Someone has to talk about the future as if we actually have one, as if everything won’t be lost. Actually, I’m okay with anyone who will stand up right now.

The evidence is now overwhelming that Russia interfered in our election through cyber warfare. There is an investigation going on as to whether or not there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. What we learned Tuesday is that, according to a memo written by former FBI Director James Comey, President Trump pushed Comey to end the FBI investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s relationship to Russia. If true, this is the definition of attempted obstruction of justice. The American people need answers.

Mr. President. Appointing a special counsel is not a witch hunt. It’s the right thing to do and I’m glad, in a bipartisan way, that it is supported by many of your Republican colleagues. Republicans have said that Robert Mueller is “a great choice,” with “impeccable credentials,” that appointing him was “the right thing to do.” This is not a witch hunt. This is what must be done to give Americans faith in the investigative process.

The Mueller probe has now broadened to include financial crimes committed by anyone
close to DT.
It is unclear exactly how Mueller’s leadership will affect the direction of the probe, and he is already bringing in new people to work on the team. Those familiar with the case said its significance had increased before Mueller’s appointment.
While the case began quietly last July as an effort to determine whether any Trump associates coordinated with Russian operatives to meddle in the presidential election campaign, the investigative work now being done by the FBI also includes determining whether any financial crimes were committed by people close to the president. The people familiar with the matter said the probe has sharpened into something more fraught for the White House, the FBI and the Justice Department — particularly because of the public steps investigators know they now need to take, the people said.
When subpoenas are issued or interviews are requested, it is possible the people being asked to talk or provide documents will reveal publicly what they were asked about.
A small group of lawmakers known as the Gang of Eight were notified of the change in tempo and focus in the investigation at a classified briefing on Wednesday evening, the people familiar with the matter said. FBI Director James Comey had publicly confirmed the existence of the investigation in March.
