Open Thread | Just Checking In With Some Political Commentary

I don’t really remember the first time that I came upon Marcus Johnson on Twitter. But, he was young, Black, and his droll commentary just cracked me up. Folks were all involved and upset about the Democratic Party Primary.

He did not move. He did not budge. He said it early and stuck with the following:
1. The Democratic Party Primary didn’t begin until South Carolina.
2. Whatever candidate won the South would win the nomination.

He never moved from those beliefs.

So, he is doing a post-mortem on the progressives, and what they did wrong:

    So many things I hate about Trump but I’ve got to say his stupid wall is high on my list. God, how I hate people who recklessly destroy animal habitats and nature. Yet, for some reason, he is allowed to do this and I think it’s representative of his entire so called presidency. We watch in horror but somehow he is being allowed to destroy whatever he wants and loot the country at the same time for himself and his wealthy supporters. How in God’s name did it come to this?
