Donald Trump is an existential threat to this republic.
And, the thing is, the Founding Fathers saw him coming.
They were flawed, that’s for sure, but, they totally had Trump’s number.
They accounted for him within the bounds of the Constitution. THAT Part, they got correct.
What they never could have accounted for was the complete abdication to their Oath to the Constitution by a political party. They never accounted for that.
They never accounted for a Speaker of the House who would protect those that tried to overthrow the government by preventing a peaceful transition of power.

Liz Cheney is not my friend. She’s not even a political ally.
But, a broke clock is right twice a day, and she has completely nailed Donald Trump and his threat to this country, and the danger the Republican Party poses to this country:

It’s very easy to see the steps that he will take. … People who say ‘Well, if he’s elected, it’s not that dangerous because we have all of these checks and balances’ don’t fully understand the extent to which the Republicans in Congress today have been co-opted.” She stressed, “One of the things that we see happening today is a sort of a sleepwalking into dictatorship in the United States.”
“I believe very strongly in those principles and ideals that have defined the Republican Party, but the Republican Party of today has made a choice and they haven’t chosen the Constitution,” she said. “And so I do think it presents a threat if the Republicans are in the majority in January 2025.”
It’s absolutely obvious.
The GOP has already laid out that they will do Project 2025, no matter who the Republican is, if elected in November 2024. The point of that is to end representative democracy and install an autocracy.
Period.
Trump, and his stooges, keep on telling you what they intend to do if they get back in office. There should be absolutely no doubt about what will happen. It’s obvious. It’s in your face.
If he wins, that would mean that the GOP took back the Senate and kept the House. Please understand what that means.
There is no Republican contingent that would stand up to Dolt45.

About the Abortion Drug Case.
There are 2.
1. The phony doctor’s group – they don’t have standing.
2. The regulatory question – I don’t see how they sever this one drug from the rest of Big Pharma. And, I believe Big Pharma will win.
So, no, I don’t think that they will strike down the ability to get this drug across the USA.
