Darrell Issa & The GOP Preparing To WASTE Tax Payer’s Money, Instead of Addressing American Job Crisis!

SSDD=SAME SHIT, DIFFERENT DAY Count on the GOP for wanting to take America back in time, never forward…

Well folks, we saw this coming the GOP’s continuing theatrics of repeal, obstruct, subpoenas, anything than present the American people with an agenda on how they are going to actually LEAD.  And without missing a beat,  the media is complicit in leading the charge by giving these JOKERS the headlines.

3 Chics is not amused, and we will not hesitate to call out the abuses of the GOP’s antics of wasting MILLIONS of our TAX PAYER dollars on so-called issues they want to investigate, all in an attempt to bring down a very popular president.

You all remember the probe of the Clinton administration, don’t you?  It cost US. tax payers $80 million.

Take a look at some of today’s headlines.  **looking at you WaPo**

Incoming House GOP Chairmen Have Long List of Issues to Investigate

House Republican leaders announced plans Monday for congressional investigations into a wide range of issues, from corruption in Afghanistan to Washington’s regulation of private industries, using the power of their new majority to launch probes that could embarrass the Obama administration.

House Republicans Set Jan.12 for Vote on Repeal of Health-Care Law

WHERE ARE THE JOBS, JOHN BOEHNER?

Darrell Issa’s agenda: The Dems’ ‘worst nightmare’?

The new GOP chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is targeting Democrats for a long list of investigations. How worried should they be?

The American people should be worried if they believe that they should be worried about Darrell Issa and the GOP repealing, subpoenas, and obstructionist behavior should be the highlight of American’s political landscape, instead of JOBS and a thriving economy.

We’re doubtful that going after AG Holder, investigating Wiki leaks, Black Panthers, ACORN, attempts at repeal HCR, are not going to go unnoticed by Americans who are UNEMPLOYED and looking for jobs.

Please ask these elected officials WHERE ARE THE JOBS?  Because the GOP could give a flying fuck, and the media isn’t going to do it for you.

Get Ready for a G.O.P. RerunBy BOB HERBERT

You just can’t close the door on this crowd. The party that brought us the worst economy since the Great Depression, that led us into Iraq and the worst foreign policy disaster in American history, that would like to take a hammer to Social Security and a chisel to Medicare, is back in control of the House of Representatives with the expressed mission of undermining all things Obama.

Once we had Dick Cheney telling us that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and belligerently asserting that deficits don’t matter. We had Phil Gramm, Enron’s favorite senator and John McCain’s economic guru, blithely assuring us in 2008 that we were suffering from a “mental recession.”

(Mr. Gramm was some piece of work. A champion of deregulation, he was disdainful of ordinary people. “We’re the only nation in the world,” he once said, “where all of our poor people are fat.”)

Maybe the voters missed the entertainment value of the hard-hearted, compulsively destructive G.O.P. headliners. Maybe they viewed them the way audiences saw the larger-than-life villains in old-time melodramas. It must be something like that because it’s awfully hard to miss the actual policies of a gang that almost wrecked the country.

In any event, the G.O.P. has taken its place once again as the House majority and is vowing to do what it does best, which is make somebody miserable — in this case, President Obama. Representative Darrell Issa, the California Republican who is now chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said recently on the Rush Limbaugh program that Mr. Obama was “one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times.” He backed off a little on Sunday, saying that what he really thinks is that Mr. Obama is presiding over “one of the most corrupt administrations.”

One of the top items on Republicans’ to-do list when they take over control of the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday is to undo one of the Democrats’ signature achievements of the last Congress: the sweeping health system overhaul.

“You will see the Republican-led House put a bill across the floor that will call for a full repeal of the Obama health care bill,” said incoming House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA). “That will be one of the first things we will do.”

And when that vote comes, which could be as soon as next week, it’s expected to pass with overwhelming — possibly even unanimous — Republican support.

    Republicans Can’t Act Alone

But while House Republicans are likely to hail it as a major victory and campaign promise kept, it’s unlikely to get far in the Senate, which remains controlled by Democrats.

So, Cantor says, House Republicans will then turn to Plan B. “We intend to work with the House committees to make sure that we can delay and defund the ObamaCare bill.”

But again, House Republicans can’t act alone. And even delaying or defunding it won’t be easy.

“I think the president and the Senate will resist that,” said Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA). He’s the top Democrat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and a leading backer of the new law.

The President has a VETO pen, mofos!
