State of Florida vs George Zimmerman -Verdict Watch

Judge Debra Nelson 11(CBS NEWS) Deliberations have begun in the trial of George Zimmerman, the former
neighborhood watch volunteer charged in the shooting death of Florida teen
Trayvon Martin.

The jury, which consists of a panel of six women, is weighing a second-degree murder charge against the 29-year-old, who shot Martin during a confrontation last year in a gated Sanford, Fla. community. Zimmerman is pleading not guilty, claiming he shot Martin in self defense.

The panel of six women, which has been sequestered as the proceedings stretched into the end of their third week, will also weigh a lesser charge of manslaughter.

Zimmerman’s parents and wife and the family of Trayvon Martin were in the courtroom as the judge read jury instructions.

  1. This is like my most embarrassing moment i feel like every white peson i pass is laughing at me.

  2. devon says:

Oh Lord I pray to you, if George Zimmerman ever has a son, may he be taken from this world in the same manner as Trayvon was. I ask this of you 1000 times and ask Jesus to make it so. Amen

  3. Naive white people can say it wasn’t about race, but black people know better, if zimmerman was black and trayvon was white, they would have brought the electric chair to the courtroom, the judge, just put it over there, thx u,the prosecutors was a joke, they were use prosecuting black men,not white men,so they were confused, trying to prosecute a white man for killing a black man, that was probly a first for them.No white men on the jury, because they didnt want to have a white man making the choice of his life of convicting another white man for killing a black man,he would have been a trader to his race, then, zimmerman gay ass lawyer, george had a right to be were he was at,so did trayvon, why didnt trayvon run why did zimmerman get out his car, what trayvon doin that he had to get out his car and go an confront trayvon,i knw, what r u doing over here was the reason,i dont think trayvon was on top of zimmerman, i think like the witness said the first zimmerman was on top of trayvon, thats why he was saying get off,get off, because zimmerman probly out weight him about 50 to 60 lbs,he shot trayvon while he was on top of him, that’s why it was a close shot, the witness was lying for zimmerman, when he said trayvon was on top how could u see all that and not try to stop it,if the witness saw trayvon on top of zimmerman, why he didnt see the shooting of trayvon?he would had too have seen it,but that why zimmerman turn him over,he was already on top of trayvon when he shot him,i think he was putting his hands over trayvon nose n mouth to try to stop him from yelling, after he shot trayvon for no reason,he had to create a defense for his action,so he takes his gun and hit himself two times in the head,to make it look like he was the victim, the front of his nose, trayvon probly hit him in the face trying to get zimmerman off top of him,and that’s in my opinion when zimmerman shot him, remember zimmerman is smart,he made A’s in his class,he knew the stand ur ground law,i think he was a bully,an manipulator, looking for an confrontation with trayvon that the only reason he got out his car,his lawyer lied,he manipulated the police he knw trayvon was recording like the police said,he manipulated the policeman,we only here one side of the story, trayvon is dead,so zimmerman can say anything to make himself look like he’the victim, domestic violence charge,an assault on an police, like he didnt have a fukd up past, they wantd to talk about trayvon pass,he’s a young kid, they do thinks, shit the president clinton n bush tried marijuana,a good prosecutor would have destroyed the defense case,im not an attorney an i could got his scary ass convicted.

  4. When Simon who was black help Jesus carry his cross to his crucifixion, was signifying that the black man would be carrying his own cross though out life.

    • Xena says:

@Anthony murry. Interesting that you mention that. Years ago a friend shared something similar. She said that it signified that Blacks would be the people walking the walk of Christ in suffering evil without returning evil, in addition to placing faith in a higher authority and not in man.

I have often wondered if first century Christians felt about the government of Rome as Blacks in America feel about the justice system.

      • racerrodig says:

I’m white and I feel the same way about the justice system……My Bad…..there is no justice system….it’s a Legal System, and it doesn’t fucking work.

        • Xena says:

RACER!!! I had asked if anyone had seen you today. You know, we believed that the justice system would work properly and convict GZ although some said “the fix is in.” We believed that the justice system would work properly and convict GZ although some said “It’s the South. They’re going to let him walk.”

So I ask myself today, what justice system do we really believe in? The Roman Empire justice system, or the justice system that caused Rome to destroy itself by its own hands? Those times I often wrote that it is God’s plan that GZ be convicted of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to life in prison — well, I wasn’t wrong. Listened to Junior and O’Mara today. I was correct. Because of his actions, GZ will forever live looking over his shoulder. He is in a prison constructed by his own actions. Man can destroy the physical body of other human beings, but it is within that man destroys himself.

I’ve been on the verge of vomiting over this since last night. We had a graduation party to go to for my sons friend and when we got home, there it was….There is no judicial system.

This is beyond an outrage…….way beyond and I just don’t know what to say. I’ve been praying for the Martins and trying to listen to some of the news on this. Then Robbie the Racist has to rear his contradicting ugly mouth and spew lies all over again.

To be honest I’m ashamed to be an American, when even the terrorist news laughs at this verdict.

Not guilty!they act like trayvon was the predator following zimmerman,we can talk about this, but its like a bad nightmare u cant wake up from,it wsnt change the verdict, basically what the jurors was saying,u can follow my kid in the dark, get out of ur car have a confrontation and then pull out a gun an shoot my kid, that’s what they told the world, really,no what they was telling the world is that in america u can hunt a black man down like game an kill him because his life is meaningless.

  13. People white america just show u they dont care about blacks in america, if they cant show mercy for a kid, they cant help it ,its there nature to be uncaring to other people suffering and struggles and why would they, when its there system that got us in this situation, they let the strong black man kill the strong man and they finish off the weak and helpless blacks, the court system dont work for us black people,it design to work against us,that how they control us,they have the advantage in the court system, that’s where the racism and hatred at in the black robes,we dont have a chance in there courtrooms, even the prosecutors where a joke, they work with the system to put blacks away, now they want u to believe they really cared about trayvon, really, courtroom actor, what do u really think they are saying about trayvon when they go home?

  14. I don’t want to hear anyone asking POTUS to call for the calming of racial tensions. This is your bed racists and enablers. Lie in it!

  15. I was watching the cnn video the walk through the one where he telling the lies about what happen,he said trayvon tried to hit head on the concrete,i think he hit himself in the head with his own gun to cover his ass,he had to make it look like trayvon attack him,to claim self defense, but the injuries to his head is not consistent with his injuries that would have come from a pounding his head on concrete,he has two scratches, if trayvon was pounding his head on concrete with such deadly force, its no way he would have got up,he been dazed, head smash in,knots, concussion or something, people football players get concussions with a helmet on there head,he had nothing, he didnt go to the hospital, the devil probly would have been in critical condition or a coma.

    • Liza says:

I wish I could tell you how many times I’ve wished that part of Zimmerman’s story were true. That Trayvon bashed Zimmerman’s stupid, f*cking head into the pavement repeatedly because Zimmerman would have had been unconscious and Trayvon would have gotten away alive.

Zimmerman’s lies were just so totally implausible to anyone except for six cowardly, racist, stupid bitches from Seminole County, Florida. I’ll never see those women as anything except what I just said. They have innocent blood on their hands. They are as evil as the killer they turned loose tonight.

It’s Not Riots You Need to Worry About, It’s More Zimmermans

    By: Sarah Jones
    Jul. 14th, 2013

‘On July 13, Jay Smooth, who among many things does a hip-hop radio show in New York and occasional music commentary on NPR and is the son of an African American father and a white mother, got to the real problem of an acquittal for George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Via the Obama Diary, Smooth tweeted, “The fundamental danger of an acquittal is not more riots, it is more George ZImmermans.”

Now that the acquittal has happened, the angry whites at Fox News are fear-mongering about the inevitable “riots” of “those people”. Yet there have been no riots, oddly enough, given the magnitude of the injustice.

Let’s not gloss over the inferred wrongness of a “riot” by the angry whites at Fox (also known these days as the Republican Party, or conservatives). They would call any demonstration a “riot” (they just did this in Texas against women). When the people they’re doing wrong speak up, they call it a “riot”. This is supposed to mark the victim as the bad one in the court of public opinion (aka, the mainstream media), which is still run by mostly white men, just like our courts.

But it’s not the victimized minority we need to fear. Nope. It’s the empowered Zimmermans. Finding Zimmerman not guilty is the same thing as rewarding sick aggression without cause. There’s a whole lot more where that came from.

Stalking someone without cause is now “defense” in NRA America, courtesy of the Republican Party. Now that Zimmerman got off, thanks to a terrible job by the prosecution who, let’s face it, seemed to be happy to have lost and it wouldn’t surprise me if he was under some pressure to do so, the next Zimmerman is dusting off his/her short fuse and getting ready to go hunting.

    Yes, hunting.

What else do you call chasing down an innocent person, confronting them because you profiled them (I was recently robbed by a white man, do I have the right now to chase every white man with a gun?) because another, unrelated person of the same color allegedly committed a crime in the neighborhood? If that’s all it takes to justify chasing and gunning someone down, then every single person in this country is at risk of being profiled.

But not every single person in this country is at risk of being shot down and having their shooter acquitted.

That’s because our justice system is not color blind or blind to the sex of the accused and the victim. White men fare better in our system for obvious reasons- white men run the system and they tend to sympathize with those they identify with; those who remind them of themselves.

George Zimmerman’s Acquittal Attaches A Face To America’s New Racism

    By: Jason Easley
    Jul. 14th, 2013

George Zimmerman’s acquittal has put the exclamation point on America’s new and much more subtle racism, which is defined by the claims of conservatives that racism is dead.

Even as the jury was deliberating, Zimmerman attorney Mark O’Mara kept selling his client as the victim, “I believe his life is at risk, and I don’t say that for dramatic effect. There are a lot of people who think George killed Trayvon Martin for racial reasons, even though nothing supports that. And if they feel that anger enough, they could react violently.”

O’Mara was wrong. There has been no violence from African Americans. In fact, the delusion that African Americans would immediately turn to violence is a symptom the racism that conservatives like to claim does not exist.

Much like how the Supreme Court used the success of the Voting Rights Act to argue that racism was on the decline, Zimmerman’s attorney used the fact that his client said that he would have done the same thing if Trayvon Martin was white to simplistically argue that there was no racism motivating his client’s deadly act.

America’s new racism is always hidden by claims that it is not racism. Racists are much more savvy today. The defense of Zimmerman was entirely based on criminalizing Trayvon Martin. An unarmed young African-American man was painted as a threat, because he was not white. No one will come out and say it, but that’s the truth.

Some people have asked what would have happened if Zimmerman was black, but I don’t think that is the correct question. The appropriate question is what would have happened to Zimmerman if he would have shot a blue eyed, blond haired, captain of the football team, suburban white kid? My guess is that the entire perception of the case would have been different.

African Americans are being told that they don’t have the same right to safely walk down the street. The message here is that an African American who is doing nothing wrong is still a threat, and most dangerously, that white people have a right to shoot a minority if they feel threatened.

The race based attacks that Republicans have been using for years against President Obama have seeped into the national consciousness. America’s new unspoken racism has been empowered by the country’s refusal to openly talk about race. Republicans have mainstreamed unspoken racial attitudes, and the defense used these attitudes to get George Zimmerman acquitted.

This sort of racism calls for a new civil rights movement. Barriers to minority voting are being erected on a daily basis, a young African American man was killed for walking down the street. Even if nobody will come out and say it, conservatives are turning the clock back to an ugly time in our national history.

I do not believe that had Trayvon been the one to survive Zimmerman’s attack- that Trayvon would be set free. I believe that the so called ‘Stand Your Ground’ law would suddenly be unusable. This was a racist verdict, a racist trial, all to allow one more racist to be set free. If folks hadn’t raised a serious ruckus- there wouldn’t have even been a trial… but I believe without a doubt had Trayvon been the one to survive- he would have been arrested immediately by the Sanford PD and tried- and convicted. Even thought Stand Your Ground would have truly applied to him

      • Xena says:

I wonder how Trevor Dooley feels tonight. Dooley mouthed off to a kid on a skateboard on the basketball court across from his house. David James was sitting there with his 8 yr old daughter and mouthed off to Dooley. Dooley walked out of his driveway to the basketball court and had words with James. Dooley turned his back to walk away when James ran after him knocking him to the ground. Dooley shot James in the heart, killing him. At the time IIRC, Dooley was 72 yrs old and James in his early 40’s. Dooley is Black. James was White.

Dooley said he shot James because James went for his gun that was in his waistband. Dooley testified that had James gotten the gun, he was sure that James would have shot him.

Several months ago, a Floridian jury of 6 found Dooley guilty of manslaughter. That jury when interviewed later, said it was a senseless killing because Dooley should not have left his driveway with a loaded gun to approach James. Although James’ daughter testified for the defense confirming that her dad attacked Dooley first, the jury decided that James saw Dooley as a threat and had the right to defend himself.

In sharing my opinion about that case, I said that the jury followed the law. Self-defense does not apply to people who are the initial aggressor.

Well, there appears to be a separate law when the victim is Black.

“With ever watchful eyes and bearing scars, visible and invisible, I headed North, full of a hazy notion that life could be lived with dignity, that the personalities of others should not be violated, that men should be able to confront other mean without fear or shame, and that if men were lucky in their living on earth they might win some redeeming meaning for their having struggled and suffered here beneath the stars.”

    Richard Wright, “Black Boy”, 1945

    • Liza says:

I read the last three paragraphs of “Black Boy” often because I think they are some of the most beautifully written words in all of literature. But I also feel this kinship with the author because of what he said about the South, that he was leaving the South to “come to know what its rigors had done to me.” Wright headed north and I headed west decades later. That distance of years and miles really does help you to understand the South, what it did to you, what it does to everyone who was brought up there, and what it does to the people who never leave.

I can’t even describe the sadness I feel at this moment.

I listened to GZ’s recorded interviews and watched his re-enactment. I read witness statements and police reports. I listened to GZ’s NEN call and the other 911 calls. Not including the Hannity interview, it took me at least 24 hours to do that without any analyzing and comparing.

There is no way that the jurors seriously went through just that portion of evidence in 16 hours.

      • Ametia says:

Liza, deep inside, I had the feeling and thought that this was all a smoke screen. It seemed staged. And low and behold; I WAS A COMPELTE SET UP to make it appear the jury was seriously reviewing all the evidence and deliberating.

I was just looking at Leatherman’s blog. He predicted jury deliberations could take 3 to 5 days. If he’s right this could be a slow train coming.

Also, I was looking at the weather report for Sanford. They are having highs in the low 90’s and high 80’s but humidity is over 80%. So it feels about 10 degrees hotter than the temperature. Heat like that is oppressive, it gets to you. On the positive side they might get a thunderstorm tonight and tomorrow, so that helps. But either way, people shouldn’t be outside for too long in that heat.

    • Ametia says:

Liza, Black folks ain’t got nothing but time. Patience is one of the negroes greatest virtures, don’tcha know! And as far as the heat, I feel you, but negores are also resilient when it comes to the hot burning sun. These folks will roll with the weather and the wait.

  67. Ametia says:

Copied from the written instruction from the judge to the jury on Manslaughter charge:

    MANSLAUGHTER
To prove the crime of Manslaughter, the State must prove the following two elements beyond a reasonable doubt:
    1. Trayvon Martin is dead.
    2. George Zimmerman intentionally committed an act or acts that caused the death of Trayvon Martin.
George Zimmerman cannot be guilty of manslaughter by committing a merely negligent act or if the killing was either justifiable or excusable homicide:
Each of us has a duty to act reasonably toward others. If there is a violation of that duty, without any conscious intention to harm, that violation is negligence.

The killing of a human being is justifiable homicide and lawful if necessarily done while resisting an attempt to murder or commit a felony upon George Zimmerman, or to commit a felony in any dwelling house in which George Zimmerman was at the time of the killing.
The killing of a human being is excusable, and therefore lawful, under any one of the following three circumstances:
    1. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune in doing any lawful act by lawful means with usual ordinary caution and without any unlawful intent, or
    2. When the killing occurs by accident and misfortune in the heat of passion, upon any sudden and sufficient provocation, or
    3. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune resulting from a sudden combat, if a dangerous weapon is not used and the killing is not done in a cruel or unusual manner.

**In order to convict of manslaughter by act, it is not necessary for the State to prove that George Zimmerman had an intent to cause death, only an intent to commit an act that was not merely negligent, justified, or excusable and which caused death.
If you find George Zimmerman committed Manslaughter, and you also find beyond a reasonable doubt that during the commission of the Manslaughter, George Zimmerman carried, displayed, used, threatened to use, or attempted to use a firearm, you should check the appropriate box on the verdict form which I will discuss with you later in these instructions.
The definition of a Afirearm@ has been previously provided in these instructions.**

    • Tensions are high in Sanford. Zimmerman supporters are screaming to Trayvon Martin supporters to go collect their welfare check and go smoke crack.

      • GrannyStandingforTruth says:

Those white folks are picking and trying to start a riot on purpose. They’re probably being paid to do that. This trial is giving them an excuse to start a Civil War. You know they’ve been dying to have one since folks elected a *sigh* black man for President.

Granny, these folks really don’t want none of these black folks in Florida. They may be peaceful, but they’re not going to let anyone roll up on them and do them bodily harm. Fuck that.

        • What people don’t want or care to understand is black people are tired of the oppression. We’re oppressed every single day we wake up and breath air. We have to fight for our rights everyday all day. Then we see a kid carrying candy gunned down in the streets while begging for his life and it enraged folks when the killer wasn’t arrested. This is why there were protests. If Zimmerman had been arrested there wouldn’t have been one protest. Heads need to fucking roll at the SPD and they need to be charged with civil rights violations in the way they investigated the murder of this child.

They ask for peace and justice. And these folks in Sanford are instigating by calling names. They don’t want peace or justice for Trayvon or black folks in general. They want more dead negroes.

    • Ametia says:

They want to shoot a negro and claim self defense or SYG or some other fuckery. racsim is epidemic there.

      • The Zimmerman supporters want to instigate a fight and bait folks into a fight so they can have the riot they’ve been predicting.

    • Ametia says:

It’s touchy. Are they reviewing all the evidence and instructions to make the best/right decision? It’s a position not to be taken lightly.

And yet apart of me feels they are doing this to say look; we veiwed it all, took X amount of hours and state couldn’t prove reasonable doubt, so they aquit this perverted murder.

What are the outcomes? 2nd degree murder and manslaughter.

I want that mofo to be charged with 1st degree murder, but since that’s not an option
SECOND DEGREE MURDER WOULD DO HIM JUSTICE.

The fact that they are asking for clarifications on what constitutes manslaughter is encouraging. I hope they include the gun in it.

    • Xena says:

He tried bashing the State rather than showing concern that his buddy is still going to prison.

      • Ametia says:

This MOFO Zimmerman is not getting an aquittal. NO WAY IN HELL. He killed Trayvon, and he’s going to pay for it.

    • Judge reads response: If you have a specific question, please submit.

    • roderick2012 says:

Do they know if they convict him on manslaughter that the other two charges ( homicide with a firearm and killing of a minor) also apply?

      • Roderick

Zimmerman supporters are now claiming the jury needing clarification on manslaughter means there is a hold out with some between murder 2 & manslaughter and that means a hung jury.

        • roderick2012 says:

That would mean that they would compromise on manslaughter, duh!!

          • Ametia says:

The jury is struggling with the which charge to bring, and it’s not whether Zimmerman is guilty. They know he’s guilty. There was a reason they included manslaughter in the mix.

          • roderick2012 says:

I agree but given the NEN call and George’s lies he deserves Murder 2.

      • Ametia says:

That’s been the Zim team’s dream. There will be NO HUNG JURY. These women had better bring a verdict, I don’t give a shit how long it takes.

They need to be courageous and bring a verdict. If they aquit Zimmerman, aquit him and face the music. If hey charge 2nd degree murder or manslaughter, after deliberating, fine,f ace the music. You agreed to be on the jury, now do your job.

But a HUNG jury is the COWARD’S way out, IMO, and Trayvon Martin deserves a verdict fromt his murder tiral

      • Liza says:

A hung jury will happen only if there is one person who refuses to vote for anything but acquittal. For that to happen, Zimmerman would have to be the luckiest son of a bitch who ever lived. I don’t think that particular scenario is very likely.

      • Ametia says:

And there you have it. Thank you, Liza.

NAACP president asked to step down
Updated: Friday, 12 Jul 2013, 5:48 AM EDT

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – It seems much of the country is gripped by the George Zimmerman murder trial. As it comes to a close, many in Hampton Roads are upset about a Facebook post by a local head of the NAACP.

“To the majority of the African-American community, I would find it offensive,” said Norfolk City Councilman Paul Riddick.

Tristan Breaux, 25, was sworn in as president of the Norfolk NAACP in January. He is the youngest president in the branch’s history, but members of the organization are calling for him to step down.

“He obviously does not have the maturity when to speak and when not to speak,” Riddick added.

The controversy started Friday morning. Breaux’s posted a comment on his personal Facebook page about the George Zimmerman trial. The remark quickly spread.

“My initial reaction was that it wasn’t true, that somebody had gone on his Facebook and had planted this,” Riddick said. “I just couldn’t imagine the president of the Norfolk branch of the NAACP making a statement like that.”

“I wonder why it is that we are always willing to say someone who clearly had a shaky past, was the victim,” Breaux asked in the Facebook post, referring to Trayvon Martin.

    • Xena says:

@SG2. Some of the interview tapes and.or recordings are over an hour long. Then there’s the re-enactment. Remember, prosecutors asked the jury to run GZ’s NEN call side-by-side with his re-enactment. There are so many obvious lies in the re-enactment that it will take the jury at least 2 hours to go through them.

Then there’s GZ’s interview with Singleton where he says he was knocked down by the first punch. He also said when he ended his NEN call, that he “walked back towards him …” Compare that to his interview with Singleton and Serino where he told them that when the dispatcher said, “We don’t need you to do that”, that he was already on Retreat View Circle.

Then there’s the Laurer tape that captured the screams. I hope members of the jury use headphones when listening so they will hear GZ cursing simultaneously with the screams. He can’t do both at the same time.

The jury has a long job ahead of them.

State Attorney Angela Corey fires information techonology director who raised concerns in Trayvon Martin case

    By David Bauerlein

State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

On the same day attorneys finished their closing arguments in that nationally watched trial, a state attorney investigator went to Ben Kruidbos’ home about 7:30 a.m. to hand-deliver a letter stating Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.”

The letter contended Kruibos did a poor job overseeing the information technology department, violated public records law for retaining documents, and noted he was questioned in March when the office was trying to determine who had leaked personnel information obtained through a computer breach.

    The Sadness Lingers
    By CHARLES M. BLOW
    Published: July 12, 2013 Comment

One thing still hanging in the air when the lawyers in the George Zimmerman trial finished their closing arguments was sadness — heavy and thick, the choking kind, like acrid smoke.

Some questions will never be answered. And some facts will never be altered — chief among them, that there is a dead teenager with a hole in his heart sleeping in a Florida grave, a fact that never had to be.

Zimmerman told Sean Hannity last year that his shooting of Trayvon Martin was “God’s plan” and that if he could do it all over he would do nothing different. (Later in the interview, Zimmerman equivocated a bit on the topic without identifying what specifically he would change.)

I don’t pretend to know the heart of God or the details of his “plans,” but I hasten to hope that he — or she — would value life over death, that free will is part of a faithful walk, that our mistakes are not automatically postscripted as part of a divine destiny.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/13/opinion/blow-the-sadness-lingers.html?smid=tw-share&_r=1&

    • Liza says:

Zimmerman injecting God into his murderous act is blasphemous and disturbing. I’ve never read anything about Zimmerman being “religious” or not, but his remark about the murder being “God’s plan” appears to be an ill-conceived attempt to appeal to religious conservatives. Zimmerman was grifting, asking folks to open their wallets, and lying about everything. So, in all that blather, he eventually uses God’s name in vain and unintentionally tells the nation that he has no remorse for killing a child. It was a veiled truth, perhaps the only truth that he has spoken since he murdered Trayvon.

      • Morning, Liza!

I was just outside drinking a cup of coffee and thinking about the same thing. He actually injected God in his murderous act. The scripture is very clear about the taking of someone’s life. “Thou Shall Not Kill”. He has caused pain for so many people and he has no regrets, no remorse. The man has no conscience to discern between right and wrong. He has a demonic spirit. Look back at his pattern of behavior from the bullying to the murder of Trayvon. His evil escalated until he murdered a kid in cold blood.

      • Liza says:

Good morning, SG2! I agree, Zimmerman does not discern right from wrong. So far in his miserable life, he has done whatever he wanted to do to other people without consequences. I think what happened to him is bad parenting combined with bad character, probably a personality disorder that has worsened over time without diagnosis and treatment. Once Zimmerman bought a gun, he was on a trajectory where someone was going to be killed or hurt very badly. With a gun, he was nothing but a very, very danerous person.

      • Ametia says:

NAILED IT! GZ’s invoking God’s name and ITS plan is what the religious zealots use to absolve them fromany responsiblilty for the vile acts and behaviors.

They have nothing to do with the precepts/morals/values of Christianity. Goes back to the days of slavery, where those white folks used quotes from bible, twisted them and literally beat the slaves into submission about God’s plan for their fate.

Because you know they convientently forget about FREE WILL, that’s for other folks!

        • racerrodig says:

I love ya girl BUT…….that’s according to Fogen. Think about it…..the stucco guys attention resulted in the known thief getting arrested and Trayvon was certainly not an asshole and it’s a fact that there was no crime wave as described by the defense witnesses.

In fact Fogen said his bike was stolen and reported it to the police and when the kid he accused of stealing his precious bike and his dad produced the receipt with the serial # and proved Fogen was (as always) lying Fogen was the asshole criminal trying to set up a black male, Hmmmmm a pattern again.

And, again I hate to go against the grain here BUT…..Fogen did use the “F C” phrase but did it apply to Trayvon??

Can we agree Trayvon was not a “C” because as a 57 year old white dude it’s offensive to me that that word is used about anyone ?

Or can we agree that it confirms ill will & hatred on Fogens part but it’s not a true statement??

I’ve never heard of Tom Mesereau. But I do know one thing, No one used RACIAL DOG WHISTLING more than O’Mara during this murder trial. It’s all he had to try and influence those white female jurors.

And the he MEDIA can as SG2 says:

      CATCH FIRE!

      SG2; where’s DELLA?

There is a special place in hell for both Don West and Mark O’Mara. May they be cursed from this day forward.

      • Xena says:

Mark O’Mara took GZ’s case because he didn’t know better. Don West stepped in after Judge Nelson was assigned because he thought he could run over her.

        • racerrodig says:

Yep !! Nothing like quitting your day job for this act. I’m betting just about every judge in FL is waiting for these 2 to represent another big time loser before them. Every team is beatable I learned early on in life. Game plan, practice and execute. The book is out on Skeletor now.

He should have kept his job as a federal public defender defending Jihad terrorists. Easy job. All he had to do was enter a plea of guilt and get his paycheck.

          • racerrodig says:

I wonder if he has resume’s out on the internet about now????

          • Xena says:

@racerrodig. The only defendants who would want West as their attorney would be those with an ulterior motive, such as eating ice cream cones with his daughters.

I live my life the way I do because as a Christian, I believe it’s the right thing to do. In addition, I fear my maker !! I have a problem with the thought of any kind of hell. Fogen even using the word God in a sentence does not work, and as I’ve said before….

It’s never a good idea to use God as an alibi……….never.

  99. Common sense convicts George Zimmerman and proves he followed and confronted Trayvon Martin.

    http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1rlap6a

Look at the Serino Zimmerman re enactment video, Notice George states he walked in the same direction on the dog walk while ignoring the address.

Now look at the Digital Video in which it shows George meeting Martin at the T of that Dog walk how is it possible that George got past Trayvon who ran?

that Video shows George coming from another direction as apposed to what he told Serino on that video

That means George went around the street to cut off Trayvon Martin….

      Once again……..everyone…..3 ~ 2 ~ 1 ~ “How did he pull the gun ??!!??”

      • O’Mara left out the gun on purpose. He knows there is no way GZ got his gun out in the position he claimed to be in. GZ already had the gun out.

        • Xena says:

Either GZ already had the gun out, or Trayvon was not straddling him — or both.

        • racerrodig says:

Then the Moron Man goes on that stupid tear about Bernie asking questions that have not been answered and said to the effect it proves there is no case.

Duhhhhh of the decade to you O’ Moron. Think about it for a second…….then why no answers??

Because that would require more………ready for this revelation Markie………Lies. More lies, and you couldn’t find answers for the ones hanging there already.

Closing Arguments Held In Zimmerman Trial

    • Ametia says:

Which one; Gladys or Shellie? and papa Robert?

All 3 of them have the look of “DOOM” for their “Georgie.” Which irritated the living HELL out of me with the witnesses, especially the females calling him “Georgie.” Saw throught that game, by trying to take GZ back to his infantile days. Naw son, he is a GROWN ASS man and a child MURDERER.

    • Xena says:

Looks like they’re attending a funeral and ShelLIE is looking at a dead man. Well, Jodi Arias said something about not wanting to spend her life in prison. Then she changed her mind because she thinks she has something to offer to others. By the look on the Zimmerman’s faces, they have nothing to offer GZ, and we know he has nothing to offer to anyone.

    • roderick2012 says:

That picture says it all–Transiting Saturn conjunct Piglet’s natal Saturn the Lord of Karma almost to the day–George’s first Saturn Return. He just grew up!!

George finally got it…he realizes the enormity of his crime–he realizes that he took the life of another living, breathing human being for no other reason than to boost his bruised ego because he couldn’t become a cop and he lied to his family and friends about obtaining his associates degree.

Even though he’s learned the correct lesson he still has to pay penitence.

      • Ametia says:

        LOL @ Transiting Saturn conjunct.

        West & O’Mara are telling Georgie’s mama that he’s not from Saturn,but from UR-ANUS.

      • Xena says:

@roderick2012. True. Maybe GZ has also learned that people don’t buy his lies. This time, he’s been called on them. At times I suspect that his anger actually comes from not being believed.

Let’s not forget that GZ is also a thief. The attorney who he screwed out of fees in the civil case against a former employer said he would not pursue legal action for payment because he is ill.

I don’t know if he and ShelLIE had a lease, but they booked out of the townhouse like a bat out of hell the day after he killed Trayvon, leaving the Landlord without rental income. Dave Knechle reported not long ago that the townhouse is still vacant, so that’s another way that GZ steals.

GZ is toxic. His chickens have come home to roost.

    • Ametia says:

@Liza. Spot on. They’re all realizing the GRAVY TRAIN’$ leaving the station.

    • racerrodig says:

      No Brainer gang………

      SheLie’s thinking “……and I married this asshole”

      • roderick2012 says:

Nah, racer, Shellie’s a ride or die chick.

I wonder what she’s going to do if she goes to jail for perjury and Fatback walks.

Would he wait for her or would he move on?

        • I agree about Shellie. She has shown to be all up in it. I hope they don’t give that bish a pass.

          • racerrodig says:

There are a few things that can’t be beat in court. Recorded calls and bank records.
Doesn’t the state have both in her case……….by golly I believe they do !!!!!

        • racerrodig says:

When they’re both convicted……….does that mean no conjugal visits??? Hey, that’s a legitimate question !!!!

          • roderick2012 says:

            Ewww!!

I just threw up in my mouth a little at that visual.

          • racerrodig says:

I’m spending this hot day cleaning up in the shop and have HLN on the TV and on sound through the stereo. They just spent some time talking about “The Zimmerman Klan” and that last night may have been the last night SheLie and FogenPhoole spent together. We can only hope.

And they talked about the stress this must be…….ya think !! Next time keep your pistol in your pants. Oh, my bad……”next time…” there will be no opportunity for a next time.

          • roderick2012 says:

Race, you must have the patience of Job and a strong stomach to listen to Faux lite. *barf*

One of the gifts God did give me is patience. I also have the ability to “see the big picture”

            Goods looks……….eh,………not so much.

  106. Xena says:

I just watched the ending of O’Mara’s closing arguments and the camera panned to West and GZ. They looked very worried and disappointed. Of course, they get to observe the jury. Apparently, they saw nothing from the jury giving them the impression that O’Mara made a good impression on them.
