Eleanor Norton Holmes KICK ROCKS! Said she was disappointed in POTUS’ speech. Felt Jimmy Carter’s speech was better.
She wouldn’t have ever sit her behind on tv and said Hillary’s speech was disappointing. MAKES ME SICK!
This is the problem with the OLD GUARD, they are so entrenched that they tend to get in the way of any real and maningufl action to take us forward.
Instead swooning over the folks who took meaningful action, they’re pinning for the gold old days when they should be making way for the next generation and supporting them.
I don’t have any use for the CLINTONISTAS, none of them.
Thanks, SG2!
I just enlarge it and printed this out. I am going to frame it!

Well would you look at this ISH? Racist mad dog!
Maine town official gets a visit from Secret Service for racist post on Facebook calling for Obama to be shot
http://freakoutnation.com/2013/08/28/maine-town-official-gets-a-visit-from-secret-service-for-racist-post-on-facebook-calling-for-obama-to-be-shot/
A town official in Maine was paid a visit by the Secret Service Tuesday after posting, “Shoot that…..” which was followed by a racial slur in regards to President Obama. The 68 year old official explains, “What I really meant to say is, ‘When are we going to get rid of this (expletive),’” He added, “I should have said, ‘I hope the bastard dies.’”
David Marsters is running for selectman apparently on the ‘I hate Obama the most’ platform.
The Portland Press Herald reports:
“I think it’s a lot of hogwash,” Marsters said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “I did not threaten the president. … I might have used the wrong words. … I didn’t say I was going to do it.”
He said his post was taken out of context.
Marsters told the Press Herald that after his Facebook post drew public scrutiny, he was visited by local law enforcement officers, the Secret Service and CIA agents. Marsters said a Secret Service agent told him he was not being arrested immediately, but the agent would submit a report to a higher authority.
Civil rights advocates and local leaders denounced Marsters’ post, and said it was outrageous, an embarrassment for the town and a betrayal of law enforcement. Marsters is a retired police officer from Massachusetts.
Town Manager Andrew Gilmore said in a written statement Tuesday, “In three words, this statement incites violence to the level of murder, advocates for the assassination of a United States president, and uses what is likely the most deplorable racial slur in American history — all in one short sentence; all forming such a hateful statement and sentiment.”
Definitely a mad dog, SG2. The article says he is a retired policeman from Massachusetts. Scary to think how his racism affected his police duties!

President Obama Gives the Civil Rights Speech of the Decade
http://www.politicususa.com/2013/08/28/politics-optimism-soaring-obama-speech-refocuses-civil-rights-movement.html …
President Obama demonstrated the powerful politics of optimism today at the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. This is also the first time I’ve ever caught him in a big fib.
The President gave an interview to CBS in which he warned, “It won’t be as good as the speech 50 years ago… I just want to get that out there early.” All politicians do their best to lower expectations and Obama had huge expectations riding on today, but that doesn’t change the fact that his speech was, for civil rights, the speech of the decade.
“President Obama’s speech on the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington
“By Washington Post Staff, Updated: Wednesday, August 28, 3:48 PM
“President Obama delivered the following remarks at the “Let Freedom Ring” ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington on Aug. 28, 2013, at the Lincoln Memorial.”
