But customers who saw her ringing purchases as a minimum wage, part-time sales associate at the local Target two years ago might not have placed her on the city’s upscale west side because of her skin color, she says.
Most of her former co-workers were from the poorer, less maintained part of town — the side with a large concentration of low-income African-Americans and Hispanics. Yarber, who is black and now works as an independent Internet marketer, said she was reminded of the disdainful glares she received from Target customers when she read about how a few McKinney adults insulted a group of black teenagers attending a pool party on the west side last week, prompting a violent response from white police officers that quickly made national headlines.

We can all sleep better now, (pun intended) knowing they have made a statement., after years, days of reading our blogs, tweets. Even the message reads like strung together comments from our postings.
but nothing about the White women attacked physically and verbally the Black woman.
I was thinking about this last night. The HOA that I live in has over 800 homes. I was the president of the Board of Directors for about three years. I won’t say why, its a long story. But it has been my experience that the trouble makers are a relatively small percentage of the homeowners. Our situation is somewhat different because we do not have shared facilities, the HOA does landscaping and CC&R (covenants, codes, restrictions) enforcement. I can’t think of more than about 15 to 20 trouble makers in all that time, people who were always looking for a fight, complaining about their neighbors and so forth. They could be really obnoxious, the ones who
were persistent, and I finally started having the meetings at a public library which is adjacent to a police station. I thought that might be a deterrent, and it was for a few of them.
So, I’m wondering about Craig Ranch and how many of these white folks are the trouble makers and do they really want to start a civil war over this. If they have anyone on their Board of Directors with a grain of intelligence, and if they have a reasonably good management company, they will want to put an end to this as quickly as possible. The entire association is legally liable for what happens there, it doesn’t matter if only a couple of homeowners started the trouble.
Isn’t it just like CNN to hand a microphone to some white b!tch who clearly believes that whatever she says will trump the stories of the black witnesses and even the videos because she “saw the whole thing.” Therefore, everything else is hooey. Only she knows the truth.
Oh, and she can’t come forward with her identity because of death threats.

There is a moment in the McKinney, Texas pool party video that’s both horrifying and absurd: when Cpl. Eric Casebolt manhandles, violently restrains, then sits on top of an unarmed, 15-year-old, bikini-clad black girl as she cries for her mother.
The absurdity, of course, lies in how unnecessary and over-the-top Casebolt’s behavior is (earlier in the YouTube clip, he barrel rolls across a lawn for no reason in particular). But the horror emerges from the undertones of sexual violence in that instant. Casebolt pulls the girl by her hair, forces her face against the ground and presses his knee into her back — all while she pleads for him to stop. Here’s a grown man, forcing a young girl into submission against her will. The video acts as a prime example of the inherent reality of both physical and sexual harassment against black women and girls at the hands of cops.
The scene is reminiscent of a video that went viral last year. The clip featured 51-year-old Marlene Pinnock being punched repeatedly by California Highway Patrolman Daniel Andrew. Equally as problematic as his brute force was the compromising and dehumanizing position the patrolman had her in. Andrew straddled Pinnock as he beat her, with her torso and bra exposed. Pinnock later reached a settlement in the case, with Andrew never charged, and his sexual harassment never acknowledged.

I cannot understand the older white women in that neighborhood. The kids – and despite CNN’s calling the teen a “woman” she is not, she’s a kid – were not bothering any of the neighbors. Creating danger for these young people with racist slurs, calling the police on an argument, and then whooping it up by fighting with the kids, these women show their racism and slavering hate. The pool party was integrated – there were white kids who’d invited everyone – so what is it to these women other than pure evil hearts wanting to see harm done. My heart goes out to eh 15-year-old girl who must have been terrified. No one should have to experience that.

And, I’m saying, “No. That’s wrong. She’s 14. You should not say things like that to a 14 year old.” And, they’re like “You need to go back to where you’re from.” and things like that telling me I need to go back to my Section 8 home and stuff like that.
So, I said, “Excuse me?” And then the other lady, her name’s Kate, came up to me and she smacked me in my face. She…

If you watch it full screen you can see one of the 2 women has a hold on the girl’s hair pulling it. In order for her hairpiece braid not to be pull out, the girl defensively holds that braid in the hand of the woman and keeps the woman’s hand near her hand so the woman cannot succeed in pulling it out. At the same time both sides try to pull them apart after the 2nd lady has hit the girl.
Finally they are separated, but you can see at timestamp :09 that the girl is holding her braid that the woman was pulling at. She was able to hold onto it, but it had been pulled out by the woman.
