A St. Paul police sergeant has been placed on leave after authorities were alerted that he was advising motorists to feel free to hit Black Lives Matter “idiots” with their cars before driving a block or two away and reporting it as an accident.
According to the Pioneer Press, Sgt. Jeffrey M. Rothecker is being investigated for a Facebook comment he made about an article on a Black Lives Matter protest that involved stopping traffic on Monday..
The comment was brought to the attention of authorities by local cop-watcher Andrew Henderson who taped his encounter with St. Paul police when he showed them the post.
In the Facebook comment Rothecker advises, “Run them over. Keep traffic flowing and don’t slow down for any of these idiots who try and block the street. Here is the deal, you continue to drive and if you hit someone make sure you call 911 to report the accident and meet the cops a block or two away.”
Rothecker advises justifying driving to responding officers by telling them “you feared for your safety since in the past the people in this group have shown a propensity towards violence.”
According to the suspended cop: “These idiots could try and sue you in civil court, but remember that it will be a jury trail and so most likely it will come out in your favor.”
On Monday, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman issued a statement saying he is “outraged and disgusted by the post and (I) have directed the SPPD to investigate.”
Sgt. Jeffrey M. Rothecker is dangerous to public safety. He is UNFIT for duty. FIRE HIM NOW!
This is a perfect example of when to fire a cop. He cannot be rehabilitated, this is who he is. You can “retrain” him from now until it snows in hell, and he will not change. Fire his a$$ before he kills an innocent person or gets someone killed, assuming he hasn’t already done so.

My only caveat with the protesters blocking streets where there is live traffic, is that it doesn’t serve the folks who are driving. They have the right to drive unencumbered, especially emergency vehicles who need to get through. There are life & death situations involving more than jus the protesters.
That being said….
THERE IS UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER, SHOULD A COP WHO IS CHARGED WITH PROTECTING CITIZENS ADVOCATE FOR THE PLOWING DOWN OF ITS CITIZENS (BLACKS IN PARTICULAR) FOR PROTESTING TO SAVE THEIR OWN LIVES.
FIRE THAT SOB SGT JEFFREY M. ROTHECKER IMMEDIATELY
Sgt. Jeffrey M. Rothecker has no business on any police force ANYWHERE!

Cops have used the excuse…”I feared for my life” forever and a day to get away with murdering black people and now they’re telling motorists what to say to get away with it. Evil is running rampant in this country.
This cop is unfit! He should be fired. He’s revealed himself.
