Trump plans to release thousands of migrants in two Democratic strongholds, Florida officials say

Florida officials are raising alarm and pressing for details about the purported intention of the Trump administration to send hundreds of immigrants a week to two heavily Democratic counties in South Florida.

Customs and Border Protection has not publicly disclosed its plans. But a partial picture of a new approach to managing a record influx of immigrants at the southern border came into view on Thursday based on the accounts of local leaders in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Even allies of the president were nonplussed. The state’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, joined federal lawmakers from Florida — Republicans and Democrats alike — in questioning the apparent effort to foist the immigration and asylum burden on two local jurisdictions without equipping them with the resources to house, feed, educate and protect new arrivals.

Oy vey.. this is getting to be just so incredibly silly … and ridiculous in its inconsistency and obvious attempt at pathetic slickness..

You can’t endlessly scream about ‘black’ women being the backbone of the party and the most reliable voting bloc for the party … hiss about how there’d better be a ‘black woman’ on the ticket … endlessly harangue every prospective male candidate about picking a female candidate – and get mad when they dither about choosing a ‘black’ one specifically..

Then get mad when it’s said that Biden is floating a black woman as running mate …but just not the fluffed-up one you’ve been pushing for..

This is all just so glaringly desperate and manipulative and ridiculous..

Revealed: the fringe rightwing group changing the UN agenda on abortion rights

Anti-abortion lobbying group using its influence in the Trump administration to help shape policy on the world stage

Last spring, Laurie Shestack Phipps, a diplomat at the US mission to the UN, received a set of talking points from the state department before an international women’s conference, setting out clear red lines against mention of “sexual and reproductive health” care.

This had become the norm in the Trump administration, where the once uncontroversial phrase was seen as code for abortion. Use of the word “gender” was also strongly discouraged, as it was viewed as a stalking horse for LGBT rights.

It was no surprise that Phipps’ colleague, Bethany Kozma, a political appointee at the US agency for international development, had the same text. What was shocking was that she heard exactly the same words coming from the Yemeni spokesman for the Arab Group.

Most striking of all – the shared script was already familiar. It had been circulated before the conference by an anti-abortion lobbying group called the Center for Family and Human Rights, or C-Fam.

Stephanie Ruhle is not only trying to help normalise and rehab Gary Cohn, but also is helping him talk up the treasonous buffoon and pushing hard for the interests of the 1% and their various corrupt financial schemes…
