Open Thread | Some Thoughts On COVID-19

I am back to posting on COVID-19, because, it is the biggest story in the world.

I will be going back to my physical workplace on June 1st.

I admit that I am terrified.

All my energy will be spent getting to and from work , COVID-19 free. That is what will consume me, Monday through Friday.

 

Do you really think that I am going to expound any energy for anything else?

Really?

Seriously?

I look at the pictures of these crazy people who won’t wear masks or respect social distancing, and I am horrified.😳😳

 

You are not just risking your life with your ignorance. You are risking MINE- and, I find that unacceptable.

I don’t know what kind of delusional world that you live in, but the incredible selfishness that is on display is disgusting 😠😠.

Does this image terrify anyone else?😳😳

Grifting thieves😠😠

They have names. They have families. They have someone out there who is mourning them.

    I was in Safeway yesterday for at least an hour. I ran out of food, I had put off going for too long. Well, it was fairly busy and at least a fourth of the people did not have masks. I was so angry after spending an hour trying to shop AND avoid the stupid, reckless fools who refuse to take even the smallest precaution.

    When I hear those ads on TV saying, “We’re all in this together” I want to scream. We’re not in this together. We’re in this alone when we leave our houses. Alone.

    I’m not a fan of authoritarian regimes but I’ve got to say that some of these things like wearing masks should probably be enforced when there is a worldwide pandemic.
