They are right about the TikTok kids. Peanut loves this song, and we spent an afternoon on Youtube listening to the different versions of this song:

    I see what he is saying.
    I look at it differently as a Black woman. In my mind, I compared the last four years to the ancestors and all the hope that they had post Civil War and Reconstruction. Seeing Reconstruction end and the incoming brutality of American Apartheid.

    I knew that was where we were headed if Dolt45 had succeeded. So, I was always like learn from the past. We had the ability to fight in a way that the ancestors didn’t.
