Here’s what’s not being said about Mississippi. The system has already failed. When medical professionals call and beg you to keep your elderly family from needing the hospital because there is no staff and no rooms, the system has already failed. Literally left for dead.

Too many people who were not old enough to watch our exit from Vietnam on TV seem to believe that the U.S. can invade a country, lose a war, then exit without chaos & dishonor.

No one in the Pentagon or on TV knows how to do that which is why it’s never been done.

After Biden’s speech yesterday, I thought it was the exact opposite of a Trump speech. He clearly took responsibility for not anticipating the speed of the Taliban’s advance.

So of course Politico is calling his speech “Trumpian” because they live in Bad Take World.

Biden answers why Afghan civilians were not evacuated earlier: in part because some Afghans did not want to leave earlier, hopeful for their country, and in part because the Afghan government did not want the US to organize a mass exodus.

This isn’t an example of a fighting force that we abandoned, like The Kurds.

And, we are supposed to sacrifice ANY American troops for that?
    I don’t think so.
