Very interesting day of testimony.🤔🤔🤔
The GOP already rues the day that McCarthy was unable to stack the Committee with his cronies.😒😒
"They're not here to hurt me." is the money quote so far.#January6thHearings

The whole quote is shocking. "I don't F'ing care that they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me. Take the F'ing mags away. Let my people in. They can march to the Capitol from here. Let the people in. Take the F'ing mags away."

Truth
Here’s the thing we have to digest.
trump didn’t care if every single human being in that Capitol died if it meant he’d still be President. And some were willing to follow him over that cliff.
That’s the chilling thought we must accept. Fully. And then declare never again.

More TRUTH
Oh…by the way. None of this shit would've been uncovered if Democrats did not have the majority.
But keep listening to people who mock voting.

Again re-upping my observation from last week. Prosecutors know what constitutes witness tampering and obstruction of justice. In cities across this country they prosecute alleged gang leaders & conspirators for sending messages like this. To ignore this shreds the rule of law. pic.twitter.com/h8tQTeiCTe

Trump said they are not here to hurt me. Ya they were there to hang his VP. This is unfucking believable 😳

NEW: Cassidy Hutchinson testifies that Mark Meadows told White House counsel Pat Cipollone on what Trump had said about the Hang Mike Pence chants: “You heard him — he thinks Mike deserves it”

If you are calling Hutchinson a hero but aren’t shouting about the heroism of Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, we know you. We see you. Two of those women are heroes. The other just told the truth under oath.

A small but important correction to what @KatyTurNBC said live a few minutes ago. Trump didn’t ride to and from his January 6 rally on the Ellipse in the “Beast” limo. He used one of the smaller, armored Chevy Suburbans.
That’s why he was able to lunge for the steering wheel. pic.twitter.com/zuRW3PfhCy

It’s despicable how even today, we have these major media outlets tryna run interference for TFG & the GOP. Shame on @abcnews, @CBSNews, @NBCNews and all these other outlets. You’re no better than Fox!

For a retired flag officer and former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency to plead the fifth when asked if he believes in the peaceful transfer of power is pretty wild.
— David Swerdlick (@Swerdlick) June 28, 2022
the idea that Meadows lacked the courage to stop the coup doesn’t really capture what Hutchinson’s describing — he was facilitating it by his passivity, at the very least playing to survive himself whatever the outcomes

When you decide you want a monarch and not a President you end up with the White House valet and the senior aide to the President’s Chief of Staff wiping ketchup off the wall of the White House dining room after the monarch throws his lunch against the wall. #January6thCmte pic.twitter.com/VH3rF57e7I

I’m going to repeat one thing I keep saying: I hope Democrats are not goofy enough to lionize Cassidy Hutchinson. Yes, we can acknowledge her testimony & what she did today. But she should never be given any flowers outside of that. She is a GOPer through & through.

More on the Danny Davis race – the Justice Dems are like —well, that puts her in the lead for when Davis finally retires.
Um, no. When Davis retires, there will be politicians, with history and a record, who will step up to the plate to run. They won’t be able to pull that ageist shyt that they did against Davis, and these are the folks with ties, who can get the endorsements of groups that put actual boots on the ground. To me, his opponents entire campaign was some ageist bullshyt against Davis.
So, in my neck of woods, Jesse Jackson’s son, Jonathan, won the Democratic Primary to replace Bobby Rush. Have to admit that I was sort of surprised. He wasn’t one of the top fundraisers. I guess it did help that there were so many candidates. Jackson won both the City of Chicago and Suburban Cook County.
The other race that interested me was Congressman Danny Davis fight to retain his seat. He won , because of the City of Chicago. The West Side came through for him. He lost the Suburban Cook County part of his district.
The Trumper won the GOP Nomination for Governor. The $50 million dollar buckdancer Mayor from Aurora came in THIRD….BWA HA HA HA HA HA
Good Morning, Everyone😊😊😊
