Seems like the Democratic Party is changing the order of States for 2024.
It’s about time.
Wow: Biden has called for South Carolina to replace Iowa in the presidential selection process
‘We must ensure that voters of color have a voice in choosing our nominee much earlier in the process’https://t.co/CvhoEBfecI

DNC/RBC public meeting kicks off with co-chair Minyon Moore reading President Joe Biden's letter/recommendations for early window into the record.
In case you need a refresher on the dramatic changes he's proposing: https://t.co/yZ2jEVqqnn

New primary schedule—
The smart takeaway here = Biden has nailed the far-left in a coffin for a generation. SC and GA are where socialism goes to die. The end of caucuses is another major blow

BREAKING: Democrats voted to remove Iowa as the leadoff state on the presidential nominating calendar and replace it with South Carolina starting in 2024, a dramatic shakeup championed by President Biden to better reflect the party’s diverse electorate. https://t.co/3gKEcLOpPQ

They are so mad. They don’t know what to do with themselves. Going to every small diner in Iowa and NH. Now, all those stories are going to have to focus on Black people.
And, they can’t just find the 2 Black voters who were for Bernie. They will also have to admit that they have never spent that much time around Black people in their lives.😒😒
The media is not used to focusing on the preferences of Black voters for any length of time. Now they will have to spend the kind of time they used to spend interviewing every registered voter in Iowa for a year what they think and instead ask Black voters in SC instead.

"He knows what South Carolina did for him, and he's demonstrated that time and again, by giving respect to South Carolina," Clyburn said. Adding that "when he runs for reelection" he hopes the state will repay him. A seemingly early endorsement of a potential 2024 bid by Biden.

Elaine Kamarck, who literally wrote the book on primary process, weighs in:
“I like SC first. … After SC, the other four states, every single one, is a swing state. Every single one is a state we need to win, but it is not, by any means, automatically in our column.”
DNC Rules & Bylaws co-chair Minyon Moore gives her blessing: "I agree with the president that this is a bold window that reflects the values of our party and is a window worth fighting for."

I'll be honest, I don't have terribly strong feelings about which states should go first, but New Hampshire Democrats whining "ITS OURS, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT, " when they are not at all representative of what the Democratic Party coalition looks like, is annoying. https://t.co/0sTEq7ABka

SC – Moves from 4th to 1st
NV – Moves to 3rd to 2nd
NH – Remain 2nd but NV added
GA – Moved way up
MI – Moved from 2nd Super Tuesday
No caucuses..Black and Latino vote represented.
Super Tuesday stays intact..CA & TX are the big gets.. https://t.co/Uxjz1rzcKY

White Democrats are really melting down at realizing Joe Biden actually wants black people, the base of the party, to be the FIRST to have a say in the Democratic primary.
It's almost like, in the highly contested elections of 2020, 2016, and 2008, WE decided the nominee.

DNC's Rules & Bylaws cmte APPROVES Biden's 2024 early window primary calendar plan:
Feb 3: South Carolina
Feb. 6: New Hampshire and Nevada.
Feb 13: Georgia
Feb. 27: Michigan
(2 members in opposition – from IA + NH).

This idea that a state that is not representative of the Democratic Party should go first, is antiquated. Is long past time to put a state first that is more representative of the Democratic Party itself. That state is not New Hampshire. That state is South Carolina. pic.twitter.com/M5X0fr5Fde

I asked Clyburn about criticism @harrisonjaime might get being DNC chair and a resident of the state.
"People are going to criticize Jaime, no matter what he does. Jaime is doing what he thinks is best for the party," he said, adding that SC is the most "realistic" choice. pic.twitter.com/t23WrP7QKh

Moving Sounth Carolina into 1st position also forces candidates to speak to black issues as an entree on the plate instead of a side dish they can just sample a small portion of.
If SC was first in 2016 Bernie wouldn't have even made it passed March.

Some of these folks seem awfully upset that the base of the Democratic Party will no longer be held hostage by the folks that generally vote for GQP and super left folks. 🤔It’s almost like they’re realizing their brand was never really all that popular.
I look forward to the media being frustrated about having to treat Black people like they matter in the months leading up to the first Democratic primary.

The whining from the Bernie-bros and other leftists about the change in States for 2024 had me go back in research of 2020 videos
