lol yeah, no. What's more likely is that legacy admissions, athletes, children of staff and faculty, and dean's list recipients got in over him.
Also high grades and test scores guarantee nothing, most admission committees use that to screen candidates. https://t.co/xrJboXl1hQ

I am not making this up, this is literally what a group of researchers found. https://t.co/C3UKMB51r8

Funny how none of their whining mentions Legacy Admissions.
Merit is NOT a substitute for diversity. I also need people to not ignore the fact all of the feeders into these colleges discriminate from jump.
Any Black and Brown people you see are probably the creme de la creme of the creme de la creme. https://t.co/EwnSCN1BWs

I literally know of a famous elite high schools where A THIRD of their graduating class goes to Harvard each year.

My friend @katie_orona and I wrote about this and cited awesome work by @zbleemer on how banning affirmative action harms minorities.
I'm passionate about this because this policy will impact all of us. Please don't play yourself into thinking otherwise.

I am back to add onto this astute point: Selective colleges could also just *increase* their class size.
And by not doing so, well, low supply + high demand = our current reality. Source: https://t.co/RwuZe2AWuA! Okay, I'm done forreal.https://t.co/S0ppkNDf9v

Some colleges today look at other things besides SAT/ACT scores, things like public service/volunteering, clubs a student joined, and a candidate’s social media history. These weren’t factors when I applied to UGA, but they are important to some higher education institutions at the present time. Something that irks me about those joining the fight against affirmative action in college admissions is the idea that Black students aren’t as smart as, or smarter than, the plaintiffs in this case, but that is not true. A Black 14 year old Texas student graduated from high school last week. Her older sister also graduated from high school at the same age.
I’ve not posted here in awhile. The reason is that I’ve been busy trying to get my only child out of a toxic relationship and back home. She did move back home, decided to pursue a program of study in registered nursing or dental hygiene. I also got her into counseling. Two weeks ago, she was accepted into both programs and has decided to pursue nursing. I’ve been working really hard to get her to this point, and the investment is paying off. We’re attending orientation next week, and she will begin the RN program in August.. .
Glad to see you. So happy for you and your daughter.
RN?
Difficult, but so worth it. Will keep both of you in my prayers.ππΏ
I have loved watching the TikTok videos roasting him. Just clowning him
