Take a look at why there was a Wisconsin rally MEDIA BLACKOUT March 12, 2011, yet we were bombarded with Tea Party town halls and rallies from 2009-2010, rallies that were full of race-baiting rhetoric, gun-toting, fear mongering tea baggers, and the majority of these rallies were financed by the Koch brothers.
BOOTS ON THE GROUND! Go out and ask these protesters who is paying them to gather, take to the streets, descend on the Wisconsin Capitol, and FIGHT for worker’s rights.
Madison Rally Bigger Than Biggest Tea Party Rally
By Alex Seitz-Wald at 12:35 pm
Police estimated up to 100,000 people turned out in Madison, WI yesterday to protest Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) assault on unions, making it bigger than any protests the city has witnessed, even those during the Vietnam War. The Madison rally is part of a much larger Main Street Movement of average Americans demanding fairness in labor laws, social spending, and taxation that has emerged in Ohio, New Jersey, Florida, Michigan, and elsewhere. But yesterday’s rally in Madison is noteworthy because at 85,000-100,000, it was bigger than the biggest tea party protest, the September 12, 2009 rally in Washington, D.C., which turned out only an estimated 60,000-70,000. Of course you can google and research details on the rally from other blogs, and Wisconsin state news online, but the past four weeks of protesting from the Wisconsinites goes well beyond the state to the national level.
This should give folks an indication of who CONTROLS the networks and what they are allowed to cover. Looks like the media is COVERING for Governor Scott Walker.
Please school these fools Mr. Trumka, because the rest of media does not want to support the American people or the DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!!!
So much for all those average American, Main Street voters, heh…
Walker changed his mind about recalls and organizing because,God talked to him and told him what to do with the organizers(ignore them). If God is on your side one can do no wrong even if it is wrong. This mans a sick puppy like most tea baggers.I wonder if Walker hears voices in his head? He’s certifiable anyway!Lets keep praying for the folks in Japan.
It’s painfully obvious that the media has been making a conscious effort to keep the Tea Party at the forefront of our public discourse, even when there is no reason to do so. Leading up to the midterm elections, all you heard about was Tea Party this and Tea Party that, but when you take a tally of Tea Party candidates who ran in the midterms, far more of them LOST than won. In other words, it was all hype. And it still is.
Good Morning, Janitor. TP= pure hype, and as usual the media is negligent in its research and reporting. Fortunately, Wisconsonites have gottent their wake-up call and are affecting the change they created by the choices they made last November.
I’m reposting this video:

Karma!
Sometimes people get what they want and it becomes a curse to them!

More good WI recall news
Nearly half the signatures needed to recall the Wisconsin senators who voted to end collective bargaining have been collected. The Washington Post reported:
Dems have now collected over 56,000 signatures supporting the recall drivers, according to party spokesman Graeme Zielinski, after another surge in organizing activity over the weekend. That’s up from roughly 14,000 after last weekend. This means Dems are well ahead of schedule: In each targeted district, Dems need to amass the required signatures—25 percent of the number who voted in the last gubernatorial election—by a deadline of 60 days after first filing for recalls, which happened nearly two weeks ago.
Wisconsin Teamsters are a big reason the signatures are rolling in. Ric Schmidt, president of Local 344 in Milwaukee, says the recall efforts are moving along strong:
The people running the recall drives are in movie theaters, grocery stores and libraries. It’s a full effort and it’s pretty cool. We have statewide jurisdiction as a package and small parcel, UPS local and we’re working on this recall, as well.
Glenn Grothman is in a super Republican district, and there are lines waiting to sign a petition to recall him. Petitions are being signed like crazy to recall Albert Darling. I think she will be the first to go.
Schmidt says there is plenty that Teamsters in Wisconsin can do to join the recall effort.
We have a general membership meeting Sunday at Local 344 and that’s where we’re going to have recall petitions ready in case members from those districts come.

So This Also Happened This Past Weekend:
Now, let’s not take away from the sheer enormity of the earthquake and tsunami that has wrecked northern Japan. Obviously, it’s a story with implications for this nation. But one would imagine that a 24-hour news channel might allow for a bit of coverage of other news. And if you had watched CNN this weekend, you might have heard a top of the hour mention of the Saturday rally in Madison, Wisconsin. In fact, here it is, from Sunday:
“A homecoming this weekend in Wisconsin for 14 Democratic senators who fled the state to block a vote on a bill cutting public workers’ union rights. They were greeted by cheering crowds at the state capitol. The Republican-controlled Senate passed the controversial bill last week without the Democrats by taking out its spending provisions.” Those “cheering crowds” numbered at around 100,000.
It was given the same weight as Rep. Michele Bachmann’s basic ignorance of Schoolhouse Rock history.
Still, it was better than MSNBC, which didn’t pause its weekend of Lockup episodes for any of the big news stories. Apparently, shivs, sodomy, and toilet hooch are more important than massive deaths or massive marches. Prisoners over people, so very American, you know. It doesn’t have to bleed to lead. It’s just blood all the time.
For the last month, the mainstream media ignored many of the important details of the story of Wisconsin’s cross-eyed governor’s repeal of collective bargaining rights. But it’s sadly par for the course. If ten teabaggers farted in the same place last year, there was wall-to-wall coverage of the velocity and odor. Of course, the Tea Party stooges are merely doing the bidding of their very wealthy and corporate chain yankers, so there’s a stake in making them appear mainstream.
Teabaggers are begging to be left alone in selfish disempowerment. The protests in Wisconsin (and Ohio and Michigan and Indiana and Iowa) are about the rights of individuals to fight together for fairness and equality. The 100,000 people in Madison marched in a genuine protest against a tangible wrong, not an incomprehensible yawp against wrongly perceived and non-existent ills. It’s a fine line. No, wait. It’s a broad gulf between the two.
There’s bad timing, for sure. And Japan’s double-whammy should have made everyone stop giving a happy monkey fuck about media whores like Charlie Sheen and Sarah Palin. But, surely, CNN could have cut away a few times from the endless repetition of tsunami videos to focus on a political rally that was larger than any event the destructive teabaggers ever managed to cobble together.
Surely, the roiling American Midwest is worthy of attention, too.

CNN, MSNBC have gone to hell in a handbasket. They would rather show some racist teabaggers marching on Washington to protest the black President than show folks fighting for fairness and equality.

Middle class and poor folks.Rise up and form “One” Union and send the Tea Party and all Repuglicans straight to hell!Workers and all Democrats unite! Here’s the logic that drives the repuglicans. They think our country is doomed now that we have a African American President. Therefore, they are making spending cuts daily so there will be more money in the coffer for them when the collapse comes.Financial advisors(repuglicans all)also are telling folks not to spend(no new cars or homes etc.)but save.Where? In their IRA’s and banks of course. The pugs can’t wait for the banks to collapse and get their hands on our money! This is all nonsense of course but it’s their silly logic. God bless the working class of America! Ty Millsaps
How astue of you Ty, to point out the thuggery of the GOP and their CONTINUED attempts to pilage and rob us HARD-WORKING Americans, byusing fear of the BLACK PRESIDENT.

Now the folks of Wisconsin know who the REAL ENEMIES are, and they are ones of their SKINFOLK.
Want to bet the media would have been all over this had there been 100,000 blacks gathered around a state capitol. You know, just waiting for the negroes to act a fool, so that they could capture it all on camera and air on a continuous loop, to scare de white folks.
