Elizabeth Warren, Fierce Financial Consumer Advocate : In Her Own Words

For those of us needing a refresher on who is Elizabeth Warren, you can start here.

There’s a cadre of chatter around the so-called Progressive blogosphere about President Obama and Elizabeth Warren.  How POTUS is a sellout, because he did not choose Warren as head of the Consumer Protection Bureau.  No doubt about it, Warren is a fierce advocate for consumer protection.  She’s worked hard to educate consumers and bring some transparency to Wall Street.  That’s why she’s feared by some in the GOP, some Democrats, and Wall Street.

Here are a series of videos featuring Elizabeth Warren IN HER OWN WORDS.

And watch Elizabeth Warren on Rachel Maddow’s show last night here.

*** Feel  FREE to SCROLL past the Adam Green nonsense, and forward the clip to around the 7 minute mark.

And then there’s this bit of SPECULATION that’s CIRCULATING:

GOP Could Regret Pushing Elizabeth Warren Into a Senate Run

LOL  This scenario would be a dream come true.  Watch your back, Senator Scott Brown.

You decide.  Was Elizabeth Warren pushed aside as head of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or was it her own personal choice?

  1. LOL! TrumpDog, I was going to say the same thing. Anyone, like Timmy G., who has any experience with that sector of society is a dog and a traitor to this country. Whoa, how come she isn’t getting the treatment?

As to the question, NO Way was she pushed aside. In her letter at WhiteHouse.Gov she made it clear that Obama asked her to make the decision. This roiling idiocy is nothing but a put down of PBO. That is all Rachel and those emoprogs care about these days.

    • Ametia says:

Hi Dororthy. What the hey is a emoprog? LOL did you notice Rachel’s segment about Adam Green? She can take that nonsense to the [ E.R.] = EYEROLL.

      • TrumpDog says:

        Ametia,
“Emo” is short for emotional. Typically, they are people whose whole mindset is of angst and emotional despair.
        Prog is short for progressives.

Emoprogs are those that spend their time looking for things to complain about and will always find something wrong with what President Obama has done, is doing or what they perceive that he will do.

        HTH.

    • TrumpDog says:

Whoa, how come she isn’t getting the treatment?

      Good question.

  2. TrumpDog says:

Something tells me Warren doesn’t do anything unless she wants to.

    Warren worked for Wall Street???
I thought progressives hate people who worked for Wall Street.

    • Ametia says:

Hi TrumpDog. Good to see you. I made an error in EW working for WS. I will correct immediately. Thanks

      • TrumpDog says:

        Hi Ametia.
OOps, ok she did not work for Wall Street?
        OK, disregard my latter comment.

        Good post, nonetheless.

        • Ametia says:

LOL no prob, TrumpDog. I shutter to think, if Warren had been working for Wall Street, she wouldn’t be…. never mind. I wish her success in whatever she persues. If she runs for MA senate and wins, now that would be a thing of beauty!
