You can’t have it both ways, Joey Scar and crew. Step up your game, and realize that Americans are living in the DIGITAL AGE & know how to play this GAME. The president can reach out to whomever he choses. And his CHOICE is the American people.
From the White House Correspondents Association’s president
FOX NEWS HACK Ed Henry, following today’s developments:
“Speaking on behalf of the White House Correspondents Association, I can say a broad cross-section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend. (PRESIDENT’S DAY WEEKEND & VACATION) There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency.”
Really, Ed Henry? Frustrated about not being able to cover a fucking golf game with Tiger and PBO? I’d take these fools seriously, if they’d voice frustration over the GOP’s OBSTRUCTIONISM, you know follow them around with recorders and web cams to document their vacations away from congress.
And who can ever forget these classic exchanges between Ed & President Obama
PBO to Ed Henry: “You want a piece of me?”
Since 2009, the Obama administration has revolutionized their outreach to voters through technology. If anyone has been following this president, they know that he’s been on the road, delivering his message and using the White House.gov channel to televised his events. Is it any wonder. The events are unfiltered from media bias, lies, distortion. We get to hear and see what the president is saying and doing through unfiltered lenses.
That’s why the media is in an uproar over their claims of President Obama’s limited access.
The Republican Party = LOSERS and sore ones at that. What did Senator Mitch McConnell say?
The GOP’s number one PRIORITY was to make President Obama a ONE TERM PRESIDENT.
Reaffirms GOP’s priority here:
Where was Ed Henry and their cameras and recorders then? They weren’t following Mitch McConnell around reporting on why he and his party were hurting Americans by behaving like spoiled brats, who didn’t get their way.
Morning Joe Crew whine about President Obama not building relationships with Republicans
You mean the gang that set a record for filibusters in his first term, and made an unprecedented block on his pick for defense? Those republicans?
The scene portrays the tense conclusion of President Lincoln’s hard fought campaign to ensure passage of the 13th Amendment. We see the representatives voting on the bill and breathe a sigh of relief as Democrats break ranks with their party to cast their votes in favor of the historic piece of legislation.
It’s an encouraging moment to witness. Politicians dropping thick-skulled ideology and reaching across the aisle to vote for what is undeniably right at the epicenter of the most divisive moment in U.S. history.
In this light, there is some strange dramatic irony to be found in Republicans’ refusal to accept an invitation to a White House screening of “Lincoln” extended by President Barack Obama. The screening, attended by the filmmakers as well as Democratic lawmakers, is only a single Polaroid in a photo album filled with the president’s lone figure, extending a welcoming hand into negative space.
Morning Joe: When Does Obama Realize He Should Step Up
Really, the president should step it up? If the majority of Americans watched this nonsense every morning, they’d swear the president does absolutely NOTHING.
Scarborough Rips McCain, GOP For Blocking Hagel Over A ‘Grudge
WUH? Joey going after his party for blocking Hagell? WassamattaU; Twitteratti must be pounding your ass.
Morning Joe Panel Clashes Over GOP Losing Tactics
Yes; the GOP are LOSERS, and will remain so. They can’t even be seen with the President, watching a movie about a former PRESIDENT.
All grandstanding, with no real substance. These folks’ time is running short. The digital age is amongst us. We don’t have time for crooks, liars, and cheats.
2010 President Obama reached out to the GOP. Remember the House Republican Retreat in Baltimore?
The Ed Henry’s of this great nation had better recognize that we don’t suffer fools lightly.
SNIPPET FROM TRANSCRIPT:
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, but I guess what I’m saying, Jackie, is that I think until you’ve seen what my overall team looks like, it’s premature to assume that somehow we’re going backwards. We’re not going backwards, we’re going forward.
With respect to this “truism” about me not socializing enough and patting folks on the back and all that stuff, most people who know me know I’m a pretty friendly guy. (Laughter.) And I like a good party. (Laughter.) And the truth is that when I was in the Senate, I had great relationships over there, and up until the point that I became President this was not an accusation that you heard very frequently.
I think that really what’s gone on in terms of some of the paralysis here in Washington or difficulties in negotiations just have to do with some very stark differences in terms of policy, some very sharp differences in terms of where we stand on issues. And if you think about, let’s say, myself and Speaker Boehner, I like Speaker Boehner personally, and when we went out and played golf we had a great time. But that didn’t get a deal done in 2011. When I’m over here at the congressional picnic and folks are coming up and taking pictures with their family, I promise you, Michelle and I are very nice to them and we have a wonderful time. (Laughter.) But it doesn’t prevent them from going onto the floor of the House and blasting me for being a big-spending socialist. (Laughter.)
And the reason that, in many cases, Congress votes the way they do, or talks the way they talk, or takes positions in negotiations that they take doesn’t have to do with me. It has to do with the imperatives that they feel in terms of their own politics — right? They’re worried about their district. They’re worried about what’s going on back home.
So have some of this with your WHINE, GOP & MSM or keep up with MODERN TECHNOLOGY:
