  1. Orlando Sentinel

There are no blood stains anywhere on George Zimmerman’s shirt. Why not, if Trayvon was shot within close range?

According to the Orlando Sentinel Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose, had a swollen lip and had bloody lacerations to the back of his head.

A broken nose & head bashed against the concrete cannot miraculously heal in 35 minutes. But still no blood stains on Zimmerman’s clothes. If the child, Trayvon Martin, was shot in the chest, close to the heart, then it’s going to bleed profusely. But why no blood on Zimmerman?

    Something is not adding up.

  2. FDLE gives Zimmerman its homework on Trayvon, his girlfriend, other witnesses

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/trayvon-martin/os-george-zimmerman-fdle-profiles-20130321,0,315978.story

SANFORD – The judge in the George Zimmerman case this week signed orders, requiring the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to release to defense attorneys the biographical profiles agents did on Trayvon Martin and key witnesses in the case, including his girlfriend.

It’s a written version of an order she made from the bench earlier this month.

The information includes some criminal background information and other pieces of information likely to be useful to attorneys wanting to challenge the character of a witness.

Prosecutors and an FDLE attorney earlier this month argued that the information should not be turned over, but Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson temporarily halted the hearing, took the paperwork back to her office, reviewed it then returned to the courtroom and ordered most of it released to Zimmerman’s attorneys.

On Tuesday, she formalized the process, signing orders authorizing their release, with certain portions blacked out, and placed them under seal in the case’s public court file.

  3. Sanford cop fired for using racial slur on Facebook, misusing patrol car

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/os-sanford-cop-racial-facebook-post-20130319,0,1451905.story

The Sanford police officer fired Monday had written an angry Facebook post, using a slang version of the N-word three times, according to department paperwork.

Vanessa “Nessie” Knode, 28, of Sanford, told an internal affairs investigator that she did not mean it as a racial slur. She had gotten into an argument with her husband, who is white, she said, and was venting.

“Did you type the word N—A?” asked police Sgt. Paul Herx.

The post was an anti-man screed and was not pointed at any person in particular, she said in an internal affairs interview Feb. 26. Knode, who is Hispanic, said she uses the word with friends, treating it the same way she would “bro” or “these guys” and believes it to be inoffensive.

“It just comes out,” she said in the interview.

Knode was suspended with pay Jan. 30 when the department began its investigation. She was fired Monday.

Part of the reason was that she also used her patrol car, while off duty, to take her children to school.

She told officers that she was in a jam that morning, that her husband could not take the children to school and her personal vehicle would not start.

The department found out about that, also, because she had written a Facebook post about it, and a co-worker had reported it.

Knode’s Facebook homepage does not identify her by her real name nor as a Sanford police officer, the department determined.

Knode wrote the slur in October, seven months after the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old. The police department came under withering criticism at the time for its decision not to arrest George Zimmerman, the shooter who said he fired in self-defense.

  5. Here we go, y’all. It never ends. Police picking on my son this morning.

Josh gets stopped by the PoPo on his way coming to my house to pick me up. Josh is in a good mood b/c he’s going car shopping and wants me to tag along with him. Well, just before he makes the left to my house, the police stops him. Josh asks what’s the problem? Police says “you didn’t put on your turn signal”. Josh says “yes I did. I put it on 200 yards away”. Police: “Is it working”? Josh says “yes it’s working”. Police says” do you have insurance”? Josh pulls out insurance. Police: Is this truck registered to you”? Josh says, “yes it is”. The police knew damn well the truck is registered to Josh b/c he ran a check on him. Then he asked…”do you live around here”? WTF does that have to do with eggs in China? Police couldn’t find anything so he tells Josh make sure you put your signal on. Josh says “I did put my signal on 200 yards away before I made the turn”.

The police is a lying liar. He had no cause to stop Josh. He tried to make one up. He stopped Josh b/c he saw those rims on a nice truck so he just knew drugs were in that truck. Josh was racially profiled. Guilty of driving while black.

    • Ametia says:

Ain’t this about a BITCH! So now what’s Josh to do? Follow all of mama’s words of wisdom? Keep your hands on the steering wheel at ALL TIMES, answer yes sir, no sir, Do what you’re told?

Did Josh get the officer’s name? He has the right to ask his name and his high ranking officer’s name, you know. But you figured he’s supposed to be INTIMIDATED by the CaC Po Po that he’d dare not ask that question!

Josh needs a recording device and hidden camera to capture this kind of HARRASSMENT & FUCKERY on tape.

Josh has the RIGHT to drive without being profiled and harrassed by the POLICE. PERIOD

  6. Times columnist Charles Blow to speak about Trayvon Martin case

    http://news.ufl.edu/2013/03/19/charles-blow-to-speak/

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — More than a year after the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin near Orlando, many legal, social and cultural questions raised by the case are still being discussed across the country.

The University of Florida Center for the Study of Race and Race Relations will analyze a number of these questions during the 10th annual CSRRR Spring Lecture on Wednesday, which will bring together experts from nine departments at UF along with keynote speaker, New York Times op-ed columnist Charles Blow.

“At Close Range: The Curious Case of Trayvon Martin,” will take place at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in the Chesterfield Smith Ceremonial Classroom, HOL 180. The panel presentations will be from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and Blow’s keynote lecture will be from noon – 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and law school parking restrictions will be lifted in the green lots.

The panels will look at a wide variety of issues raised by the case, from a multitude of academic perspectives. Some of the featured panels include “Jim Crow Riding High: The 21st Century Assault on African-American Voting Rights in Florida,” “Half-Baked: Weed, Race and the Demonization of Trayvon Martin,” and “Racial Profiling, Security and Human Rights.”

  7. Attorneys for George Zimmerman question Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/trayvon-martin/os-trayvon-martin-girlfriend-deposed-20130320,0,866649.story

George Zimmerman’s attorneys were in South Florida late last week, deposing Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend, dad, mom and brother, according to newly filed case records.

On March 13, Mark O’Mara took the sworn account of Trayvon’s girlfriend, the state’s most important witness, at a Miami office of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Shortly after Trayvon’s death, she told authorities that she was on the phone with him a few moments before he was shot by Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch volunteer who had called Sanford police a few minutes earlier, describing the unarmed 17-year-old as suspicious.

Zimmerman, 29, is charged with second-degree murder. He says he acted in self-defense.

It’s not clear what Trayvon’s girlfriend told Zimmerman’s attorneys, but they were expected to challenge her on statements she’s made that appear to be untrue.

She was 18 at the time of the shooting, but when an attorney for Trayvon’s family, Benjamin Crump, introduced a recorded statement she gave to him, he described her as age 16.

And she told Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda that she missed Trayvon’s funeral because she was in a hospital.

Prosecutors earlier this month admitted there were no medical records that would bear out her claim. She’s important because of what she says she heard that night while on the phone with Trayvon. She has said that Trayvon described to her a man who was following and frightening him.

She told Crump she heard Trayvon and the man exchange words then Trayvon’s phone went dead. Zimmerman’s attorneys did not finish questioning the 19-year-old woman, his office said, and will schedule another session.

She was one of seven witnesses that defense attorneys deposed in South Florida late last week. That includes Trayvon’s father on Thursday and his mother and half-brother on Friday.

It’s not clear what they disclosed.

    • Zimmerman’s attorneys did not finish questioning the 19-year-old woman, his office said, and will schedule another session.

WTF? They’re going to depose her twice? That’s pure BS!

  8. Honor Trayvon Martin: Build the Movement

  9. ladystclaire says:

I am sorry if my first comment was a bit much but, I’m sick and tired of this BS out of these white BIGOTED RACIST. George Zimmerman has caused such discord in this country by his actions of killing a kid that was doing nothing wrong nor was he bothering anybody. it’s a damn shame that some whites in this country/world think they are Boss over what GOD created. these people want to blame blacks for this and that, when they themselves are committing more murders than people of any other race. everything they want to blame black people for, they are the forefront of it all. I’m just sick of them and their damn lies.

  10. ladystclaire says:

NO YOU IGNORANT RACIST SON OF A BITCH, THIS COUNTRY IS IN THE NASTY FIX THAT IT IS IN BECAUSE OF IGNORANT WHITE PEOPLE LIKE YOU! ONE THING ABOUT IT THOUGH, GOD DIDN’T CREATE THE EVIL THAT YOU HARBOR IN YOUR HEART FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT THAN YOU, YOUR IGNORANT ASS PARENTS DID. YOU ARE AS LOW AS THEY COME YOU IMBECILE AND, I’LL BE WILLING TO BET THAT YOU WON’T SAY THAT SHIT TO THIS MAN OR ANY OTHER BLACK MAN’S FACE.

THIS IS HOW YOU PEOPLE WITH THE POINTY HEADS OPERATE, HIDING BEHIND PHONE LINES OR THE INTERNET. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT SIMPLETONS AND COWARDS AS WELL. SO, YOU CAN KISS EVERY BLACK PERSON IN THIS COUNTRY’S ASS. YOU COWARD. AS FAR AS BLACKS KILLING WHITES EVERYDAY IN THIS COUNTRY, THAT IS A LIE AND YOU KNOW IT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE KILLING OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE AND STEALING FROM THEM AS WELL. YOU MFB!

  11. Xena says:

Thanks for posting this info about the symposium. I’m watching the video in parts, hoping to finish watching by tonight.

  12. Ametia says:

The panel came to deliver the goods. They are laying a deep foundation of how black boys and men are starked, profiled, and mudered due to RACE.

  13. Hey guys!

Check out this video someone sent to Charles Blow about his coverage of the Trayvon Martin murder.

    • Ametia says:

I remember the audio of this deranged racist bitch.

      • Ignorant racist trash on full display!

      • ladystclaire says:

@Southernlady2, you are right about the racist ignorance on display and, I am so glad to know that the rest of the world is witness to what this country is really about. I’m sorry but, I just don’t see how anyone can continue to call this the best country in the world because, I can’t tell especially with people such as these here.

    • wtf is this????? this muther fucker doesn’t get charged with harassment??

      • I was just taking that number down!!! I would love to call that stupid bitch. he needs what they used to call; put outa his misery.
either that or therapy b/c he shouldn’t be considered normal. that’s a mental health problem. he can’t be allowed to run around amongst us normal people! what if he does something to someone’s kid?
this is exactly why they need to beef up the public health care and especially mental health. this is a warning! this guy is a murder waiting to happen!! if some asshole says something like that in front of my kid there will be a huge problem!!

AND this is another reason the MEN need to step the fuck UP!!
the men in this country need to get back to nature! they are bigger and stronger than women for a reason, and it ain’t just to hunt bears!! it’s to protect his family and community!! and I’m not picking on just black men. ALL men!!! the race thing isn’t gonna be so clearly identifiable in a couple hundred more years.

but there will still be men and women and innocent children- their children! but we’ll all look pretty much the same.
so the men; rich & poor, black and white, christian and jew, married or single they all gotta do something more than just TALK about shit. sometimes they actually gotta take out the trash!

      • Get him , Shannon!

Talk about deep hate & ignorance to boot! He went after Charles Blow b/c of his coverage of the Trayvon Martin case. And he goes on to mock black people about their rights, as if we have none. What a pitiful pathetic human being!

        • yeah, but now I realize how ignorant I sound; assuming he would be in trouble for *saying things*!

I guess this is another problem that needs attention. free speech kinda sucks and ignorance ain’t so blissful.

    • Charles Blow also shared this email sent to him.

      Charles Blow

      • Xena says:

I truly hope that is an old email and the person isn’t so stupid to believe that President Obama can now be voted out of office. LOL!

        • It’s an old email but it was sent during the time of Charles Blow’s coverage of the Martin murder. These are some really mentally deranged people. They’d rather see Zimmerman get away with murder simply b/c he killed an African American and they’re angry with Charles Blow b/c he dares to shine the light on the injustice.

          • Xena says:

@SG2. The word “deranged” is not strong enough my sister. That in fact, I’m not sure if we have a word to describe their sickness. When I first starting reading on the internet about this case back in April 2012, it was an article on Yahoo news. I scrolled down to comments and read “How did that shoe shine boy get into the White House.” That is when it hit me that the situation of GZ killing an unarmed kid was nothing more to bigoted racists than opportunity to show their hatred towards a race of people.

As I continued to watch and listen is when a line from the movie Malcolm X came to mind, only with a small change; i.e., racist bigots perceive that the organization of protests and media coverage is too much power for Blacks. Racist bigots do not support GZ in his person. If they could not use his case to disparage Blacks, they would have absolutely no interest in it.

      • Xena,

Racist bigots do not support GZ in his person. If they could not use his case to disparage Blacks, they would have absolutely no interest in it.

Hammer meet nail! The bigots are supporting Zimmerman strictly b/c he killed a black kid. They know his story is bs but they don’t care. They want him to get off so badly that they’ll dig deep in their pockets to help with his defense. That’s a lot of hate!

        • Xena says:

          True, but it goes much deeper. It’s HOW the killing of Trayvon Martin became known. Here we have;
          1. Black middle-class divorced parents with no particular public speaking ability. To bigots, they were suppose to be too ashamed to come out in the public on this matter.
          2. A Black attorney who is not as articulate as President Obama, who is not ashamed of his accent, who zealously advocates for his clients.
          3. Rev. Al Sharpton, a Black television host on a major television network who bigots criticized for years as not filling the shoes of Dr. King, (although when Dr. King was alive, they also criticized him too and argued that he was an enemy to America).
          4. Black journalists such as Charles Blow, Jonathan Capeheart and Roland Martin using air time to address the situation.
          5. A White publicist who worked to network putting all things together.
          6. A White law school student of Howard University, a predominately Black college, who starts a petition on change.org for investigation and arrest of George Zimmerman. That petition received over 2 million signatures.
          7. Black radio hosts using air time to talk about the situation.
          8. Whites, Latinos, Asians and Blacks marching across America and in the UK for justice for Trayvon.

That is too much power for Blacks to have.

It’s a demonstration of equality. For bigoted racist, no matter how much education, achievements, money or success otherwise Blacks have, they are never equal to Whites. Racist bigots cannot shame, defame, lie, humiliate, threaten, or use fear tactics enough to stop this quest.

What’s that saying by licensed psychologists and counselors about abusers? They only have as power as we give them. Bigoted racists have lost their power.
