The Constitution provides disqualification from future office as an available penalty in cases of impeachment. It would defy logic if a president could commit an impeachable offense near the end of his term and evade this penalty simply because his term expired before the trial.

If we had an REAL INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST in the USA. They would have tracked and put the pieces of 45’s ugly, racist, stoking a violence and REPORTED IT DAILY.
That MI Capitol event along with Trump’s Twitter and Klan rally attacks on the MI governor didn’t get the coverage it should have. Definitely predictive of what could happen when Trump’s domestic terrorist supporters get riled up.
