Can anything be more obvious?
They had a Speaker of the House that took 15 votes to get the job. And, made it so that just one person could get them removed from the job. Absolutely ridiculous.
Now, since they got rid of McCarthy, who are his possible replacements.
Congressman ‘ David Duke without the baggage’, Steve Scalise.
Congressman ‘ Exploitation of young men was going on all around me, but, I saw nothing’ Jim Jordan.
Clowns to the left of me. Clowns to the right of me.
The ONE THING that Nancy Pelosi knew how to do was COUNT THE VOTES. She never put anything forward unless she knew she had the votes. And, never forget, she had the same number of members that McCarthy did.
We have the conflict going on between Israel and Hamas, and a House of Representatives that is missing in action.
We have the conflict going on between Israel and Hamas, and our military is hamstrung because of the yahoo Senator from Alabama stopping all military promotions because he wants to control the body autonomy of female service members, and the female family member of service members. Controlling their body autonomy is more important that our military readiness and preparedness. The balls on their mediocre piece of racist garbage.
We are also being hamstrung by his fellow GOP Senators, holding up Ambassador appointments for whatever insane reasons that they have.
The military blockade — put in place by Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) in protest of the Pentagon’s abortion travel policy — includes two picks for the Joint Chiefs and officers leading U.S. forces in the Middle East. At the same time, three of President Joe Biden’s picks to be ambassadors to Middle Eastern countries, and his pick for the State Department’s top counterterrorism job, await votes in the Senate as the confirmation process sputters.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is on record holding up the counterterrorism official, and other unnamed senators are holding up other diplomatic nominees.
They do this nonsense, and the MSM never holds them accountable. Rest assured, if the parties were reversed, they would be in the face of every Democrat all the time, asking them if they support the harming of our military by their fellow Democrat.
Then you have clowns like Hawley, who must be a Russian stooge like Johnson of Wisconsin, talking about we can’t think about aid to Ukraine now that we have this need in Israel.
Absolutely not. The Israeli aid needs to be in the same bill as aid to Ukraine. Period.
Because, there is only one person who benefits from no aid to either country : Putin.
Then you have the GOP clowns talking about President Biden gave $6 Billion to Iran. The President did not give any American funds to Iran. He approved the release of the frozen funds in banks to Iran.
They are yelling that lie trying to obfuscate the obvious questions that SHOULD be asked about Israel:
Hamas got their intelligence from Iran.
Iran got their intelligence from Russia.
The 64,000 question needs to be:
Where did Russia get Israeli Intelligence Information from to pass on to Iran?
Yes…THAT is the question that needs to be answered.
UPDATE: Scalise has dropped out.

This is truly an end of an era.
As long as I’ve been watching tv, Tom Skilling has been doing the weather. He’s like a Chicago Institution.
I trust what he says. Have trusted him about the weather for decades.

Tom Skilling, the longtime WGN-TV chief meteorologist, announced his retirement Thursday during the evening news.
An always sunny presence, whatever the weather in Chicago, Skilling delivered a stormy fall forecast and then hit loyal viewers with the news that he’s reaching the end of a prodigious weathercasting career.
“I’ve watched people do this before and there’s no formula for this,” Skilling said. “I’m going to retire at the end of February, after a marvelous 45 years at this incredible television station.”
Skilling, 71, who started at WGN-Ch. 9 on Aug. 13, 1978, has been a familiar and congenial presence on the Chicago airwaves for decades, expertly and calmly navigating the city’s often unpredictable weather situations for generations of TV viewers.
