I plan to watch the RNC. I’m watching it right now. I want to see and hear the further mockery of our democracy. I want to see the sideshow highlighting ” Krispy Creame” Chris Christie, Racist Rick Santorum whose disdain for “BLAH” people will be shrouded in more Welfare rhetoric.
I want to hear Ann Romney try to bring out Mitt Romney’s feminine side to appeal to women voters, while she has shown such disrepect and disdain for Americans by pointing her fingers at news reporters and telling us flat out that “YOU PEOPLE,” aren’t gonna get anymore of our tax returns,” while the entire GOP PLATFORM for Women’s reproductive rights are under attack with anti-abortion legislation with no exceptions, even in the case of rape. I want to hear and see the staged, and carefully crafted coded messages of HATE, RACE-BAITNG, patriotic, BIRTHERISM, Christian facade, and white fear-mongering of this circus act.
And I definitely want to see and hear the water-carrying MSM lap dogs try to spin a miracle out of this fuckery. And I don’t give a good godamn how many Black & Brown faces they parade accross the stage or in the audience. They’ve shown us who they are. And when folks show their ASSES, trust it, they are ASSES.
Finally, I plan to attend the 2012 DNC in Charlotte, NC next week. So stay tuned to 3 Chics Politico for up to the minute coverage. We’ll post video when available.

A Particularly “Low” Class of White People: Republicans Throw Nuts at Black Folks; They Heckle the “Foreign” Delegate from Puerto Rico
Their forefathers were John Birchers. Their grand-pappies and grandmas likely spent time at the monthly lynching tree. Some of them were members of White Citizens Councils, the “polite” racists, who stood against civil rights for black folks and upheld Jim and Jane Crow. Earlier this year, the most zealous among them booed gay soldiers, howled in glee at the prospect of a person being executed by the State, and cheered people dying because some sad soul did not have health insurance.
This is the contemporary face of the Republican Party, who the Tea Party GOP are and have always been. When Republicans heckled Zoraida Fonalledas, the representative from Puerto Rico to their own convention with nativist chants earlier today, they showed the American people who and what they really are…again.
[And do not buy into the excuse-making: Chants of “U.S.A.” have nothing to do with an internecine conflict between Ron Paul and establishment conservatives. Rather, this episode has everything to do with white conservative xenophobia and anti-immigrant zeal by a group of mouth-breathing Right-wing troglodytes who believe that Puerto Ricans are dangerous Spanish speaking “foreigners.”]

Did Chris Christie Lose the Veepstakes Because He Doesn’t Think Romney Can Win?

Since announcing his VP pick, Mitt Romney has been praised for selecting a slightly less boring white guy, but why did he go with Paul Ryan when he could have picked entertaining white guy Chris Christie? We assumed it might have something to do with his calls for Romney to release more tax returns or his tendency to call reporters idiots, but according to the New York Post, the real reason is that Romney felt Christie didn’t really believe in him — or at least not enough to give up his position as governor for a chance to putter around the White House for the next four years.
The Post’s anonymous sources report that the Romney campaign demanded that Christie promise to step down if selected to be VP, but he refused. “[Christie] felt, at one point, that [President] Obama could lose this. And, look, there still is that chance. But he knows, right now, you have to say it’s unlikely,” says a source. “There were people around him that wanted him to reconsider, to actually push to be vice president. But he’s known there are real issues here. Chris knows the score.”
While Team Romney probably wasn’t thrilled about Christie putting his money on Obama, the real issue was that having a sitting governor on the ticket would severely limit the campaign’s fund-raising ability. The SEC has rules that restrict how much certain types of bankers can give to governors’ campaigns, and the Romney campaign wasn’t interested in losing donors from the likes of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley.

The President’s full remarks show that the “that” in “you didn’t build that” clearly refers to roads and bridges—public infrastructure we count on the government to build and maintain.
Romney can try to manipulate those words into a political attack, but the facts belie the smear: President Obama has continuously fought to help small businesses grow by cutting their taxes and making it easier for them to invest in American jobs. Here’s how:

18 tax cuts for small businesses: The President signed 18 tax cuts to support small businesses, providing $200 billion in tax relief and incentives for America’s businesses over the last three years.

Record volume of small business loans last year: President Obama has also supported nearly $80 billion in loans to more than 150,000 small businesses since 2009, including a record volume last year.

Tax credits to support hiring: On top of the 18 tax cuts, President Obama wants to provide a 10% income tax credit for nearly 2 million businesses who hire new employees or raise wages. He also wants to extend 100 percent expensing for all businesses in 2012.
President Obama knows that small businesses are the “cornerstones of America’s promise, the idea that if you’ve got a dream and the work ethic to see it through, you can succeed.” And as he noted in Virginia, “when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative but also because we do things together.” That is why the President is committed to building an economy that invests in education, infrastructure, and innovation alongside strong business growth.
In contrast, Mitt Romney has a record of bankrupting businesses and laying off workers to make a profit as a corporate buyout specialist. His attempt to take the President’s words out of context and turn it into a political attack cannot distract from his record of fighting against the middle class.
