Craig Riggins: I visited one of the most infamous apartment complexes in America today – Canfield Green.

I visited one of the most infamous apartment complexes in America today – Canfield Green. This is where Mike Brown, Jr. was shot and killed on August 9, 2014. I met this brother named Mel (pictured) at the memorial for Mike Brown, Jr. in the middle of the complex where his dead body was left in the street. Mel was meticulously cleaning and neatly arranging the stuffed animals at the memorial. I noticed the tears running down his face as he went about his mission. I introduced myself and as I looked at him, the tears streaming down his face was too much for me. I began to cry, too. Mel and I embraced and exchanged a few words. That brief encounter between two men who had never met before was a very POWERFUL and EMOTIONAL moment for me. ‪#‎Itstillhurts

  1. Darren Wilson, you may be free on this earth but you will answer to a higher authority for your murderous crime. May you pay dearly. #MikeBrown

  2. Too sad for words. Michael Brown shot down like a dog in the streets & body left for hours. And no justice anywhere. God help this country.
