Open Thread | Why the Ratings Have Plummeted for the MSM

Saw stories last week that the ratings are down for cable since the election.

I know that I haven’t watched since Monday before election night. Haven’t gone back.

Why?

Because they are a large part of why we are here right now.

Their professional malpractice during the first Trump Administration.

Their continued gaslighting of us as they attempted to normalize Trump.

The way they hid important news points that they kept to themselves …to put in their BOOKS.😠

Their insistence on BOTH SIDERISM for everything.
Or, if it was blatant on the Republican side…the refusal to cover the topic at all.

Their outright contempt for the competency of the Biden/Harris Administration.

How they fully helped to run President Biden out of the race.

Their continued professional malpractice in covering the race between the Vice President and Trump.

And, we get this bullshyt JUST TODAY!

😒😒😒😡😡

CNN, MSNBC ratings plummeted after elections

Much of audience came from liberals while right watches Fox. That audience blames media too for Trump win.

Morning Joe bowing to Trump, & the rest doing finger-pointing & both sides coverage, isn’t going to bring audience back.

    My observation is just this:

The re-election of Donald Trump in 2024 will be on the short list of presidencies with grave consequences instead of electing the opponent and charting a new and brighter path for all Americans.

    Examples of this are:
George McGovern’s loss to Richard Nixon in 1972.
Al Gore’s loss to George Bush in 2000, still the most consequential loss of the century. Imagine strong environmental policies, no Afghanistan or Iraq Wars.

Historians will shake their heads, wonder why voters just kept squandering every chance they got for a better life.
