Video | Diane Sawyer Interviews Mitt Romney| Message To President Obama: “START PACKING”

Full interview

Later tonight Diane Sawyer will air her exclusive interview with Mitt Romney. The full transcript is online now, and I wanted to flag this particular exchange, where Romney cannot give a straight answer on whether or not he would have signed the Lilly Ledbetter Law:

DIANE SAWYER: I want to talk about a couple of issues relating to women. This 19 point difference between you and the president on women. Here are some specific questions. If you were president– you had been president– would you have signed the Lilly Ledbetter Law?

MITT ROMNEY: It’s certainly a piece of legislation I have no intend– intention of changing. I wasn’t there three years ago–

DIANE SAWYER: But would you have signed it?

MITT ROMNEY: –so I– I’m not going to go back and look at all the prior laws and say had I been there which ones would I have supported and signed, but I certainly support equal pay for women and– and have no intention of changing that law, don’t think there’s a reason to.

Ironic that this is happening the day before Equal Pay Day?

3 Chics will post the video of the Sawyer/Romney interview when available.

Last week when asked if Romney would support the Lilly Ledbetter Act, his camp said they’d have to get back to us on that. Mitt Romney also called Scott Walker a hero at the beginning of this month, just one week before Walker repealed Wisconsin’s Equal Pay law:
