Ann Romney: “The Obama Stratergy Is Let’s Kill This Guy” | GUY= Mitt | Offshore Haven Hot Mess!

You can’t make this shit up.  Watch the video from the link below.

Ann Romney: Obama’s whole campaign strategy is “let’s kill this guy”

I feel like all he’s doing is saying, ‘Let’s kill this guy,” she said, seated next to her husband, presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, in an exclusive interview with CBS News chief political correspondent Jan Crawford. “And I feel like that’s not really a very good campaign policy.

“I feel like Mitt’s got the answers to turn this country around,” she continued. “He’s the one that’s got to bring back hope for this country, which is what they ran on last time. But the truth is, this is the one that has the hope for the – for America.”

Do you have offshore bank accounts, Mitt Romney? WHERE ARE YOUR TAX RETURNS? ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.

Mitt Romney gets his wife to whine about how nasty and mean the BIG, BAD, OBAMA CAMPAIGN is treating Mitt.  REALLY, Mitt?  What a coward!

Today there are more reminders of the serious questions raised by Mitt Romney’s familiarity with offshore accounts in foreign tax havens, and by his economic philosophy that puts maximizing his own profits above all else, even if it means betting against America and its workers.

  •  Washington Post: “For nearly 15 years, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s financial portfolio has includedan offshore company that remained invisible to voters as his political star rose.”
  • New Obama Video:We asked some ordinary Americans what they think of Mitt Romney’s financial arrangements. This is what they had to say:
  • Blue Mass Group delves into it: “The really interesting question is why Romney thought it advisable to transfer ownership of Sankaty to his wife one day before being sworn in as Governor.  Since the statute of limitations on violations of the ethics laws during Romney’s governorship has apparently expired, we’ll probably never know.”
  • While Eclectablog asks: “Which is Scarier? What we know about Mitt Romney? Or what we don’t?”
  •  @Atrios: Romney’s been planning to run for president forever. How could he not have been willing to simplify his finances/tax situation a bit?(Original Tweet)
  • Finally, Romney’s contortions on the health care mandate earned him some brutal headlines:

I have some advice for you, Ann Romney. If you can’t stand the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen. Just because Romney is rich and white doesn’t mean he can waltz right into the White House without being challenged by the Obama Campaign. I don’t know what world you’ve been living in, but many of us know that Mitt Romney is a ‘pig in a poke’ who has no idea of how he’d govern this country, and your use of the word ‘kill’ shows that you and your husband aren’t ready for primetime. As we move closer to the election, watch the master politician, PBO, at work because you ain’t seen nothing yet.

The Romney Family Fairy Tale Hits the Slipstream

    By Charles P. Pierce

    at 11:15AM

One of the great prevailing myths about the Romney campaign is that they were all done — done, we tell you! — with this whole running-for-president business after 2008, when they all went around the country and discovered that, the more people got to know the paterfamilias, the more those people thought he looked like the banker come to foreclose on the new baby and wanted to pelt him with hand sfull of manure. Then, of course, America went and elected itself a guy who doesn’t know fk-all about throwing people out of work and, because of that, the economy stayed mired in the Great Recession caused by the policies of “America’s First MBA President” and the family reluctantly decided that only Willard’s mad economizing skillz could save the country. So they all gathered around the kitchen table, the family dog half-snoozing by the fire while keeping one eye on the roof ot the car, and they declared that they would all somehow suck it up and let Pops go around the country making himself unpopular again, in case there was anyone they missed four years ago….

“The reason I changed my mind is I recognized that the country needed my husband,” Romney, 63, told the Herald/Times as she campaigned recently in Pensacola. “And it wasn’t obviously a convenient thing to think about or even a pleasant thing to think about, but it was an absolute necessity that we do it.”

All the available evidence indicates that Willard Romney stopped running for president for approximately 28 seconds some time in November of 2008. A bunch of his former aides put together Restore Our Future, his super-PAC in early 2010, and one can assume they’d been planning it for longer than that. (By the spring of that year, they’d already raised $43 million, almost all of it from Willard’s pals in the financial sector.) He was writing his campaign book, No Apology, all through 2009 for a launch in March of 2010. By the time this heartfelt family gathering allegedly took place, the book already was in its adjusted paperback form to suit the people who’d taken over the party in the 2010 midterms.

There’s nothing wrong with any of this. People don’t wake up one day and run for president, and hardly anyone thinks they do. But it is not the job of the media to pass along obvious campaign mythology. Dear National Media: Just because they say it, doesn’t mean you have to print it.

The fundamental problem for Romney is that he IS a privileged douche AND he comes across as a privileged douche. That daily double shines through every day and most non-rabid GOPers see it. that is why Obama still has a strong Electoral College lead even after getting very limited positive press for ACA and the other legislative accomplishments AND while the economy continues to suck a$$. You have to be a special kind of douche to be losing in this economic climate. and, voila: he is that special kind of douche.

  5. Ametia says:

  6. Lisa MB says:

You are not concerned about “America.”

Keep it real, Ann. ‘Cause that’s what the Obama campaign is really doing to Mittens.
