Pre-trial Motions-Freddie Gray. Ms. Mosby, We Stand By You

Today is the beginning of the pre-trial motions in the case of the 6 Baltimore Police Officers arrested for the murder of Freddie Gray.
Since the day that Marilyn Mosby stepped out and charged these folks, SHE and her ENTIRE FAMILY, have had targets on them.

We just wanted Ms. Mosby to know that there are plenty of citizens out there, many who don’t live in Baltimore, that appreciate her willingness to DO HER JOB.

It’s almost pitiful that we have to thank Ms. Mosby for doing her job, but considering what we routinely see across this country, we know that prosecutors don’t always do the right thing, and many times, use the legal system to cover up brutality, all the way up to murder.

Nobody wants preferential treatment in the Justice System. We just want equal treatment. That you can’t be healthy 10 minutes before encountering the police. And then encounter them, have 80% of your spine severed and wind up DEAD…and, NOBODY COULD EVER EXPLAIN WHY FREDDIE GRAY WAS ARRESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE?

White Mass Murderers get taken to Burger King…while Black folks wind up with their spines severed.

As this case goes forth, we stand with Ms. Mosby, and will keep her and her family steadfast in our prayers.

You know what, every time white folks hear

BLACK LIVES MATTER, the only thing they really hear is:

WHITE LIVES DON’T MATTER AFTER 400 YEARS. Just pathetic.

  2. Six trials, Six different juries.

  3. Breaking News: Judge Williams has ordered six separate trials for the officers charged in #FreddieGray’s death.

    • Ametia says:

They should be charged separately. it’s going to be harder for them to concoct lies together. Each one’s got to look out for themselves.

Pros: Chances of one of them SPILLING the BEANS to protect themselves. We’ll see.

    • Liza says:

Six defendants at one trial with one jury is just too many. That would be a horrific burden on the jurors, in my opinion. I think the judge made a good decision here, forcing the role of each defendant in the torture and death of Freddie Gray to be isolated but presented within the context of the crime, allowing the jurors to focus on that one person’s actions.

This is the most important fact in this case. The brutal maiming of Freddie Gray’s black body and his death resulting only from THOSE injuries was for no reason, absolutely no reason related rightful enforcement of law. And everything else stems from this one simple fact making this a completely indefensible murder of an American citizen.

May God protect Ms. Mosby, her family, and all of those who are there in support of justice for the murder of Freddie Gray.
