See, this is why we can’t let Trayvon Martin’s murder go unoticed, and we must hold these people ACCOUNTABLE for these, UNLAWFUL, UNCONSCIONABLE, and RACISTS actions. Yes; I said racists. A 14-year-old was reportedly choked by Miami-Dade police and charged with a felony count of resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct, all for giving police “dehumanizing stares,” clenching his fists and appearing threatening.
“I just saw him walking,” said Kearra McMillian, McMillian’s sister. “My brother did nothing wrong. He didn’t say anything to the officer. He just kept walking. I guess they just got mad because he wouldn’t stop.”
So a 14 year old boy was UNARMED, CARRYING & BOTTLE FEEDING A PUPPY, and then thrown down on the ground, put in a choke hold, and arrested. FOR WHAT? A “dehumanizing” stare?
Please someone help me out here. When has there ever been a known felony for staring at anyone, including the police?

McMillian’s abuse by those police was unamerican but increasingly common. These new lethal militarized police with their control-freak mindset are hurting innocent people of all different backgrounds. For what its worth I’m not black and I’ve also been shaken down and threatened by angry police for inadvertently “staring” when my distracted and lost-in-thought eyes happened to follow a cop as he rode by. He did not like that one bit and I was detained, threatened and basically shaken down for daring to look at him. No choke hold, although the cops was very agitated and visibly upset. He was exactly the wrong type of person that should be in law enforcement.
Victory! Charges against Tremaine McMillian are dropped.
