Since we will be waiting for the last bit of nonsense from the Supreme Court, we really need to circle back to a few cases from Last week.
1. The criminalization of Homelessness.
You really need to sit and marinate that. Someone is homeless, and now, they can be deemed a criminal, if the local statutes say such.
The ramifications of this are staggering.
You can have people be arrested for being homeless.
You then are now placing people, whose only ‘crime’ is being homeless – WITHIN THE LEGAL SYSTEM.
How is a homeless person supposed to post bond? To get out of jail?
Because, I assure you that they won’t be released on their own recognizance.
So, here you have a population for the FOR-PROFIT PRISON INDUSTRY. How can they make a profit if their prison’s aren’t full?
What happens with homeless FAMILIES? You going to arrest the family? Throw the parent in jail, and then put their child in the foster care system?
Now, what will happen to those children? Especially, if they have younger children? What is the likelihood that those younger children will be taken from them and given to the adoption industry?
An absolute human nightmare.
2. The two cases dealing with abortion. (Abortion Medication/Emergency Services)
Neither one is settled, because they didn’t actually want to make any decisions before the November 2024 Election.
The abortion medication case was thrown out because of STANDING – those who brought the case didn’t have proof that they were directly injured by the abortion medication. That’s a completely different issue than if the case had been heard on the merits, and the medication itself was deemed to be the right of women to use it.
The second case – dealing with Idaho saying that they don’t have do to abortions, even if it’s an emergency situation. They want the right to refuse to treat a woman in an emergency. They deliberately punted the case. Leaving women in limbo, because of the November 2024 election.
They really and truly thought that women were going to take the loss of body autonomy with no pushback. And want to dance around the issue.
3. The Gutting of the Chevron Doctrine

Kagan’s dissent: “It is now “the courts (rather than the agency)” that will wield power when Congress has left an area of interpretive discretion. A rule of judicial humility gives way to a rule of judicial hubris… In one fell swoop, the majority today gives itself exclusive power over every open issue—no matter how expertise-driven or policy-laden—involving the meaning of regulatory law. As if it did not have enough on its plate, the majority turns itself into the country’s administrative czar.”

Whew, so glad Marco Rubio explained what a “Black Job” is. Don’t you all feel a lot better?
Apparently a “Black job” is a “lower wage” job. So that means a high wage position must be a white job, am I understanding this right?
Hey “Blacks for Trump” you good with this rhetoric? Black people on the fence, Republicans are racist and don’t care about us. The reason they believe we are only good for low wage jobs is because they think they are superior.
They accuse Black people of making up stories of racism while they are outwardly racist. Trump and his ilk have never been pro-Black because they are frightened we are coming for their jobs. Hence why they want to get rid of diversity and inclusion in colleges and at the workplace.
Migrants aren’t the enemies, Republicans are.
